This birthday felt different. 🎈

Last week, I turned 60 - the same age my mom was when she passed away. For years, I heard men talk about reaching the age their fathers were when they died and wondering what that meant for them. I never imagined I would find myself doing the same thing.

Instead of focusing on how much time we have, I've been reflecting on how we spend it. Walking the Camino de Santiago this month reminded me that life isn't measured by years but by how fully we choose to live.

As I begin this new decade, I'm choosing adventure over comfort, gratitude over worry, and presence over distraction. Life is precious. Joy is all around us. The question is whether we'll slow down long enough to notice.

Have you ever reached a birthday or milestone that made you see life differently?

As I step into a new decade, I've been reflecting on time, gratitude, and the people who shaped us. Sometimes life's greatest gifts arrive disguised as milestones. 📈

A few thoughts on turning 60, honoring my mom, and choosing to fully live, coming out tomorrow on the blog!

A few months ago, I couldn't walk.

This week, I'm preparing to walk the Camino de Santiago as I celebrate my 60th birthday.

Life has a way of reminding us that the journey is never really about the destination. It's about the people who carry us when we're struggling, the lessons we learn along the way, and the gratitude we discover in unexpected places.

This week's blog is a reflection on healing, friendship, purpose, and embracing whatever comes next: one step at a time.

Thank you for being part of this journey. 💙

Memorial Day may be over, but remembering our heroes should never be limited to just one day. 🇺🇸

"Heroes never die. They live on forever in the hearts and minds of those who would follow in their footsteps." - Emily Potter

Today, and every day, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and legacy of those who gave everything for others. May we continue to live with gratitude, serve with compassion, and carry their stories forward. ❤️

This year has reminded me that growth rarely happens in a straight line. 📈

What started as a commitment to dream bigger and live more intentionally quickly became a lesson in courage, patience, healing, and taking small brave steps forward. From pushing myself in new ways to navigating unexpected setbacks, I’m learning that the journey is just as important as the destination.

As I prepare for a new decade and new adventures ahead, one thing has become so clear: we can’t wait for life to make room for joy. We have to choose it. Plan for it. Fight for it.

And maybe that’s the real beauty of growth…it stretches us in ways we never expected, but somehow leaves us stronger, more grateful, and more connected to what matters most.

Thank you for continuing to walk this journey with me. ✨

"One step at a time is all it takes to get you there." - Emily Dickinson

Sometimes growth doesn’t look the way we planned. Progress can be slow, unexpected, and even a little humbling. But the truth is that dreams rarely happen all at once; They unfold one small, brave step at a time.

A little reflection on growth, patience, and the journey in this week’s blog. ✨️

The world connects people for a reason. 🤍

Gianny lost his mom and so did I. That shared grief brought us together for a conversation I’ll never forget.

Out of his pain, he built Power of Sight: a nonprofit that’s helped over 20,000 people see clearly. 👓✨
