✨ Did you know PDT teacher and Operations Manager Liza Barskaya is also the Resident Stage Director of Independent Opera Company?

We’re thrilled to welcome IOC to CONVERGENCE, sharing another side of Liza’s artistic life with our community!

🎶 Enjoy excerpts from The Elixir of Love in Studio 2, bringing the joy, humor, and romance of this beloved opera into our studios.

Then join us in Studio 1, where we’ll gather in the round for Fragmented—a world premiere by Artistic Director Ashleigh Doede exploring change, growth, and letting go of what no longer serves us.

With opera, Fragmented, and new work by guest choreographer Norbert De La Cruz III, CONVERGENCE brings an evening of artistic discovery throughout PDT’s studios.

Ballet is at the heart of our training, but developing versatile artists means exploring beyond a single style. ✨

Contemporary dance is woven into PDT’s Conservatory curriculum, giving dancers new ways to move, perform, take creative risks, and express themselves. The more movement languages our students experience, the more tools they have to discover who they are as artists.
