Tucker Community Foundation Tucker Community Foundation is a tax-exempt public charity that serves 10 counties across WV and MD.

Community Foundations are grantmaking organizations that serve a specific geographic area. Tucker Community Foundation is a tax-exempt public charity that serves 8 counties in North Central WV and Garrett County, MD. The Foundation is overseen by a volunteer board of directors and a staff that includes 3 full time employees and a part-time office manager. The Foundation:
- Works with donors to create charitable funds according to their specific interests and needs.
- Manages more than 100 Endowed Funds with $20 million in charitable assets.
- Serves a region that includes Barbour, Grant, Mineral, Preston, Pocahontas, Randolph and Tucker Counties, WV and Garrett County, MD.
- Administers annual grant and scholarship awards.
- Encourages and participates in community initiatives and partnerships (Potomac Highlands Food & Farm, Tucker Boulder Park project, Run For It, etc.).
- Builds awareness of the importance of philanthropy. Since the organization was formed in 1989, it has granted more than $5 million.

Registration tomorrow morning is from 8:00 - 9:30 AM. All registrations MUST be in-person today and tomorrow. Please do not register online.

This beautification project is a fun way to connect with neighbors and showcase your creativity for all to enjoy. No experience is necessary! We’ll provide design templates, so all you need is a willingness to contribute and possibly your favorite gardening kneeling pad!

The WV Grant Resource Centers and the National Youth Science Academy are hosting a Grant Writing 101 Workshop designed to help you build your confidence and strengthen your grant-writing skills.
