Another PLCS student has a new set of wheels! 🚲

This student is one of fourteen who have received bikes and helmets over the last two years through a grant secured by PLCS social worker Molly Schnabel and Free Bikes 4 Kidz Omaha. Molly works with our District Support Coordinator to match students with bikes.

Thank you, Molly and Free Bikes 4 Kidz Omaha, for helping more PLCS students experience the joy of having a bike of their own!

Last week, the PLCS Foundation team joined La Vista West 6th graders for their first day of Outdoor Ed at Carol Joy Holling Camp. From aquatics and the butterfly garden to archery, we watched students explore, learn and try new things. We even joined in the fun!

Thank you to Mr. Klug for giving us a tour and highlighting the program’s newest additions.

This annual visit is one of our favorite days each school year. We’re proud to support this hands-on program and help ensure every PLCS 6th grader has the opportunity to experience Outdoor Ed. 🌳
