Good Morning and HAPPY FRIDAY!!! The weekend is almost here, enjoy the weekend. Also, don't forget to set your clocks back 1 hour Saturday night before bed!!

Today's devotion is from Ephesians 2:8-9 - "For by grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast."

I have chosen these as my "life verses". There is SO much packed into these verses. It's almost the Gospel in a nutshell, like John 3:16.

These verses speak of the faith needed in our hearts and minds to fully accept Jesus as our Savior. They speak of the fact that there is NOTHING we can do ourselves to work, pay, pray our way to heaven. They speak of the FREE gift God gives through salvation, there is no way WE can pay that debt! These speak of the humbleness we must take on to be a child of God. No boasting or chest-thumping will get us there.

You see, it's all about God and nothing about us. We are simply the recipients of a grace, love, mercy and salvation that can only come from one place - God.

Have you accepted Jesus as your Savior?? I pray you have, while there is time.

Have a great weekend and May God Bless You.

Happy Thursday. We're getting there!!

Today's devotion is from Rmans 12:1 - "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service."

It's simple - God gave ALL for us, we should be willing to give ourselves to Him!!! God has a plan for each of us and if we desire to please God, follow God and say we are believers in Christ, then we should be willing to give our lives (our bodies) over to God to be used by Him. PERIOD!

God's plan is for God to know. Our job is simply to get on board with HIS plan and let Him lead, guide and supply all we need to do His will and be a blessing to Him.

How are YOU doing???

Have a good Thursday and May God Bless You.

Good Wednesday Morning!! Sorry for the last couple of days. Internet issues. But here we go -

Today's devotion is from 1 Peter 1:24-25 - "because 'All flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls away, but the word of the Lord endures forever.' Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you."

Peter wanted to remind us of what is truly important in this life and what will last long after we're gone. God and His word! God IS, has ALWAYS BEEN and WILL ALWAYS BE! Many have tried to eradicate God's word from this world and none have been successful!!! That in itself is proof of how powerful God's word is. There's nothing we can do to eliminate God's word, and He will never allow it. No matter how hard Satan and the world try.

So, what then?? I say we pull that dusty Bible off the shelf, open up those thin, fragile pages and get our noses in God's word!!!! It's the only way we will be able to understand who God is and what His desire is for us and our lives.

Let's spend more time in the Bible or begin spending time in God's word. It WILL be life-changing!!

Have a good day and May God Bless You.

HAPPY FRIDAY!!! We made it!!

Today's devotion is from Galatians 6:2 - "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."

Words of wisdom and encouragement from Paul to the Christians in Galatia. These words mean just as much for those in the church today, as they did back then! With the turmoil and unrest in the world today; with the constant bombardment and influence of the world in our lives; with Satan knowing that his time is about over; we as Christians need to step up and stand next to one another! We need to be there in person, in prayer and in thought as each of us go through things that can upset us, push us away from the church and/or God and even put a thought in our minds to stop the hurt in whatever way that we can.

God stands beside us, wraps us in His strong arms and wisdom, guides us in the right direction and saves us for an eternity! If you're saved, and know Jesus as your Savior, then God desires we "bear one another's burdens"! In doing so, we fulfill one of the many commands of God. In doing so, God is bless, honored and lifted up for all to see.

Let's be God's messengers today. Many are seeking and many need to be saved.

Have a great weekend and May God Bless You.

Good Morning and Happy Thursday!!

Today's devotion is from Proverbs 15:23 - "A man has joy by the answer of his mouth, and a word spoken in due season, how good it is!"

Proverbs is one of those books you should read each and every day. There are 31 chapters in Proverbs - one for each day. They're not long and can be a blessing to you each day. So, start today, reading one chapter a day, each day of the month! You'll be blessed!

Anyway, in these words of wisdom, we can see the writer is reminding us that before we speak, we should take a moment to think about what we are going to say, BEFORE we let it fly! It's not like we need to meditate on our response, just don't blurt it out. In respect to God and the person we're talking to, they both deserve the respect we should give PRIOR to speaking!

So, let's be a blessing to those we speak to and our God above who loves us! Let's speak the words God's Holy Spirit puts in our minds and mouths and be a blessing to Him.

Let's speak so God is glorified. Tell someone about Jesus today! You may be the only one who will.

Have a good day and May God Bless You.

Good Wednesday Morning!!! Welcome to Mid-Week!

Today's devotion is from Psalm 40:8 - "I delight to do Your will, O my God, and Your law is within my heart.”

As I said yesterday, the Psalms are great reading!!

Here, David says he DELIGHTS to do the will of God! We should really get on board with this thought!!! Too often, it seems Christians are moping around because God requires something from them. What we seem to forget is that God paid an ultimate price to make a way for us to be part of the family of God once again, to have that renewed relationship that was broken by sin. But we seem to forget all God has done for us!

Do you and I REALLY understand all God has done for us??? I wonder sometimes.

Let's praise God today for who He is and all He has done! A little praise will turn our frown into a smile and we too can delight in doing His will.

Have a good day and May God Bless You.

Good Tuesday Morning!! Enjoy!

Today’s devotion is from Psalm 51:12 - “Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous Spirit.”

What a beautiful verse from Psalm 51! If you’ve never taken time to read through some of the psalms, I highly suggest it! It will bless your soul.

David wrote this Psalm after the prophet Nathan came and spoke with him, after David had taken Bathsheba. David, realizing what he had done now comes back to God, sorrowful and repentant of the sin he had committed. He desired to mend his relationship with God that had been broken by his sin. So, he gets on his knees and begs God’s forgiveness and voices his desire for restoration and God’s Spirit to be restored to him. He wanted the joy that he felt when he was close to God. He wanted God’s strength to again be the man God wanted him to be.

David is a good example of a sinner, saved by grace!! God’s grace came upon David and David desired to live his life for God! How about us?? Do we desire God’s grace in our lives? Do we desire God’s joy, His Spirit, His salvation?? I pray we do!! Because without it, we are doomed to a Godless eternity!! I pray you never experience that. Come to Jesus today, be saved and be assured of your eternity in heaven!

I pray that for you!

Have a good day today and May God Bless You.
