🐾❤️ Dakota and Lobo were saved in the nick of time! Dakota and Lobo spent their lives together with the person they knew and loved. Their owner was elderly and, as cognitive decline began to take hold, they reached a point where they could no longer safely care for their beloved dogs.

Through no fault of their own, these sweet bonded brothers suddenly found themselves vulnerable and in desperate need of help. Ark 2.0 Animal Rescue and Transport stepped in and saved them!

Dakota and Lobo were saved in the nick of time, and most importantly, they get to face their next chapter TOGETHER.

Please honor pledges. Please consider donating💝

🐶PUMPKIN IS SAFE - BUT SHE NEEDS OUR HELP! ❤️‍🩹

A598513 Pumpkin, was pulled yesterday by Ark 2.0 Animal Rescue and Transport.
Pumpkin was placed on the euthanasia list after suffering serious injuries to her neck from a collar that had become deeply embedded.

Shelter staff said it appeared someone had attempted to treat her injuries at some point... but then no one came for her.

😔 She was left behind.

And somehow, despite everything she has been through, Pumpkin is the happiest, sweetest little girl. She is loving, affectionate, and seems so grateful just to be safe. 🥹

Pumpkin is currently in medical boarding and is awaiting surgery to treat her neck. Her estimated medical expenses so far are:
Surgery: $1,100
Exam, PCR testing & bloodwork: $590
Total estimated cost: $1,690

Ark 2.0 stepped up when Pumpkin needed someone most. Now we're asking our friends and supporters to help us give this sweet girl the medical care and fresh start she deserves.

Every donation helps — no amount is too small. If you can't donate, please SHARE Pumpkin's story. Sharing can make just as much of a difference!!

Did I give this ravishing boy a Monster (TM)? Absolutely not. Should I be drinking energy drinks? Probably not. Was my affinity for them caused by one deployment with the Marine Corps, and one augmenting the Army? Magic 8 Ball says, "It is almost certainly so." But I digress: I just really wanted to show off this hunk of a husky who became our UNPLANNED foster this past weekend and we are without regret!
