As Parkinson's disease progresses, the brain's response to medications may change. This can lead to symptom fluctuations, known as "on" and "off" periods.

"On" periods are times when the medication is working well, or symptoms are less noticeable. "Off" periods are times when the medication's effects wear off, and symptoms return or worsen. Learn how to manage these fluctuations by visiting: Parkinson.org/library/fact-sheets/managing-off-time

It’s known that art therapy can improve one’s mood by creating a sense of community and aid in communication and self-expression.

Join us on Wednesday, June 11, 12-1pm PT/3-4pm ET with Art Therapist, Marygrace Berberian, LCSW. Research is showing that art therapy can do more to benefit Parkinson’s disease by improving overall visual-cognitive skills, visual exploration strategies, and general motor functions.
