It was our honor and pleasure to serve another hot meal to the unhoused clients recovering at this facility. We are approaching our fourth year serving at this location! Thank you to the director and staff for allowing us to show love, compassion and kindness to all!

The Second Chance Pop-up with JCOD DOORS in the Antelope Valley was a success! Gift cards, gift bags and refreshments were served, along with valuable services and resources to individuals in the community!

It was very rewarding to be a participant in this community service event. We’re not done, so stay tuned!

Late post… House of R.E.E. Outreach Services and Donyale M. Dabney Ministries/TTIM were pleased to serve Thanksgiving dinner to the unhoused at the HOLA RECUPERATION CENTER in Palmdale, California for the fourth consecutive year. HOLA delivers a vital service, treating individuals with physical needs and no home with dignity, respect, and kindness. It was our pleasure to minister, fellowship, and serve a turkey 🦃 dinner with all the trimmings. We appreciate the generosity of all donors who contributed to this worthy cause. We give Glory to God!

CalAssist Mortgage Fund announcement:

On June 5, Chief Deputy Director Rebecca Franklin announced the CalAssist Mortgage Fund at a press event at the Altadena Library.

Following the successful administration of the COVID-related California Mortgage Relief Program, CalHFA was asked by Governor Newsom to administer a disaster-related program, which resulted in the CalAssist Mortgage Fund.

With $105 million available for mortgage relief, the program will provide three months of mortgage payments, up to $20,000, to eligible homeowners.

Low- to middle-income households may qualify if their home was destroyed or left uninhabitable as the result of a qualified disaster that occurred between January 2023 and January 2025, such as the Eaton Fire, Palisades Fire, Park Fire and San Diego floods.
