The General Membership Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, October 7, 2026, has been canceled due to a scheduling conflict with the Florida State Fraternal Order of Police Board of Trustees Conference taking place that week, which members of our Lodge Board of Directors will be attending.

Our next General Membership Meeting will be held as regularly scheduled on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, in accordance with our Lodge Bylaws, which provide for monthly meetings on the first Wednesday of each month.

We appreciate your understanding and continued support and look forward to seeing everyone at our November meeting.

September 11, 2001 - We Will Never Forget

Today, we remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives taken from us, the families who were forever changed, and the extraordinary courage shown in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

We remember the firefighters, law enforcement officers, paramedics, military personnel and ordinary citizens who ran toward danger when every instinct said to run away. Some gave their lives that day. Others carried the physical and emotional scars for years to come.

Twenty-five years later, the images may belong to history, but the sacrifice must never become just another page in a history book.

May we continue to honor those we lost by remembering not only how America suffered that day, but how Americans stood together in the days that followed.

From the members of the Palm Beach County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 50, we pause, we honor, and we remember.

It is with profound sadness that we announces the passing of Corrections Deputy Sheriff Jeffrey McInnis, who passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, following a medical emergency at his home. Deputy McInnis began his career with PBSO in January 1996 and faithfully served the citizens of Palm Beach County and this agency for more than 30 years. Throughout his career, he earned the respect and admiration of his fellow deputies, supervisors, and the countless lives he touched through his dedicated service. Deputy McInnis was proud to serve the agency with his brother, retired Sergeant Michael McInnis. Funeral and memorial service arrangements are currently pending.
