A desert resident since 1980, Kate has been a leader in the digital marketing space since 1996, when she founded her own agency and grew it to a team of 12 employees. She sold the firm in 2011 to focus on raising her twin daughters, who graduated from high school with honors in 2021 and are now attending college. She later returned to her marketing roots, collaborating with a variety of clients and colleagues to develop focused strategies, solve problems and produce meaningful results.
Kate has served on numerous nonprofit boards and advisory councils, using her marketing expertise and collaborative leadership style to create, communicate and strengthen community initiatives. She is a past president of Women Leaders Forum, where she served on the board for five years, and in 2015, she co-founded the Academy of Musical Performance, a rock-band music education program for teens.
Her longtime dream of producing and directing films became a reality in 2020 through the Palm Springs Women in Film & Television Filmmakers Lab. Kate later served as president of the organization’s board of directors and has directed three short films.
Throughout her career, Kate has earned a reputation as a business strategist, leader, creator, collaborator and problem solver who brings people together to turn ideas into action.
