🪰 It’s . Time to share what’s showing up in the parks!

Golden‑backed snipeflies are out and about, a sign that early summer has arrived. ☀️

These striking flies are predators, feeding on aphids and other small invertebrates. They’re easy to recognize by the golden patch on their backs contrasted with their dark bodies.

Storytime Puppet Theater takes the stage tomorrow (6/11) as part of our Concerts & More at the Glen series, bringing 'Forest Fables' to life with woodland tales full of curious critters and leafy adventures. 🌳🌿🍃

Little ones (and grown-ups, too) will love this mix of storytelling and imagination, with a touch of forest magic. 🐿️✨ Show starts at 7 pm.
