Dear CBRA members and followers:
We are excited and looking forward to seeing you this Saturday, August 29th! The good news is we finally have all of the buckles and awards accounted for and can't wait for you to get them!
I was hoping to have a more positive week-of post for our banquet barrel race. Sign-ups are still open in Saddle Book, and the show will be cash in/cash out for all entries and placings. If we don't have at least 25 Saddle Book entries by Saturday morning, we will offer a $15 entry, pop up barrel race for anyone who is able to join us after the awards are given out. Again, this is just an option for the club if we don't have the turn out we had hoped for. This race is supposed to be a fresh start for the new season, but we can't make it happen without our barrel racing communities support and participation!
In our new season, the people in leadership positions of this club will do our best to keep an open line of communication and also be as transparent as possible with our members. We are recovering from over a year of severely misused funds that has, honestly, bled the club dry.
CBRA is in desperate need of sponsors for the club to bounce back from this situation.
Every day we are reaching out to as many local businesses as we can and this season we will be offering for members to buy up to 1/2 of their required work hours and a free open entry for every sponsor a member brings in for the club!
There is so much love for this sport, the horses, and the people from CBRA. Thank you to those who continue to support us! If you aren't able to make it to our awards banquet this weekend, we hope to see you at our first point show of the season on SEPTEMBER 27TH, 2026!
