🚗💨 YOU SEE PLAY… WE SEE LEARNING. 🧠✨

At 2 years old, some of the BIGGEST learning happens through the simplest experiences.

A paintbrush. 🎨
A dropper. 💧
A few leaves. 🍂
Little hands exploring something new.

But behind those moments, our Road Runners are developing fine motor skills, coordination, concentration, problem-solving, independence, creativity, communication and so much more.

At Lean On Us Unity Childcare Center, we believe play should have purpose. We create opportunities for our children to explore, discover and learn in ways that are meaningful to them.

Because when children are given the right environment…

PLAY becomes DEVELOPMENT.
CURIOSITY becomes DISCOVERY.
And everyday moments become LEARNING. 🌱

🚗💨 Our Road Runners 2-Year-Old Classroom is NOW ENROLLING!

❤️ Where Learning Feels Like Home

10/26/2026

👶🏽 They’re little…but the learning is BIG.

Sometimes what looks like the simplest thing is actually a developmental moment.

A reach.
A babble.
A stare.
A wiggle.
A smile back at their teacher. ❤️

At Lean On Us Unity Childcare Center, we understand that learning doesn’t begin when a child turns 2 or 3.

It begins in infancy.

That’s why even our Morning Circle is intentional. Through books, music, movement, interaction and play, our babies are building early cognitive, language, motor and social-emotional skills—while doing what babies naturally do.

🌱 That’s the beauty of our Reggio-inspired approach.

We don’t rush babies into “school.”

We recognize the learning already happening and create an environment that helps it grow.

Because at LOUUCC…

PLAY IS LEARNING. Even from the very beginning. 🧠✨

🔔✨ Beyond the Bells at LOUUCC! ✨🔔

Learning doesn’t stop when the school bell rings! 📚🚀 Our Before & After Care program keeps students engaged with homework help, hands-on STEM activities, and opportunities to explore their creativity.

Our students continued their 3D printing journey by creating personalized nametags and designing their very own printed tags! 🖨️🎨 We love seeing their creativity come to life as they learn, design, and build new skills.

At LOUUCC, we’re making every moment beyond the bells count! 💜💗💚

☀️❤️ AND THAT’S A WRAP ON SUMMER CAMP 2026! ❤️☀️

What. A. Summer. 🥹
The trips were amazing. The adventures were endless. The van rides were LOUD 😂. The laughter was real. But the best part was watching our campers simply enjoy being kids.

They explored. They learned. They created. They tried new things. They faced fears. They became more confident. They built friendships. And somewhere in between all of that… they made memories.

From the children who started the summer not knowing how to skate and ended it skating with confidence, to trying new experiences, creating with their own hands, exploring new places, and laughing until their stomachs hurt—there was something special happening all summer long.

Because summer camp should be more than somewhere to go when school is out.

It should be an experience.

And Summer Camp 2026 was definitely an EXPERIENCE! 🙌🏾☀️

One day these kids will be older, and our hope is that they’ll see a picture, hear a song, visit a place, or talk to an old friend and say…

“Remember when we did that at summer camp?” 🥹

That’s what it’s all about.

Childhood. Friendship. Experiences. Memories.

And just like that… Summer Camp 2026 is officially one for the books! 📚☀️

🧪✨ Science, Smiles & Something Sweet at Lean On Us Unity! 🍦❤️

What an AMAZING day for our entire Lean On Us Unity family!

We welcomed the Mad Scientist to our center for an exciting and interactive science show for all of our children!

From our little ones to our older children, everyone had the opportunity to experience the excitement of science through fun experiments, laughter, and lots of WOW moments!

And we ended the day on an even sweeter note… 🍦

During pickup, we hosted an Ice Cream Social for our children and parents! Families were able to grab some ice cream, mingle with one another, and spend time socializing and connecting with our teachers and staff.
These are the moments we love at Lean On Us Unity. We aren’t just caring for children—we’re creating experiences, building relationships, and giving our families opportunities to truly feel connected to their childcare community. ❤️

Because when we say UNITY, we mean it. 🤝🏾

This February our Beyond the Bells Scholars were busy learning, creating, and exploring!

Beyond the Bells is our before- and after-school program that incorporates STEM, music, arts, and more.

🔬 STEM:
We experimented with art and science by exploring chemical reactions—specifically how salt affects watercolor paint. Students also worked in teams to build miniature elevator models with automatic doors after learning about the African American inventor Alexander Miles, who created the automatic elevator door. This month, we’re diving into blueprints, floor plans, and hands-on construction fun!

🎶 Music & DJing:
Our scholars enjoyed making music—from sing-alongs to learning the fundamentals of DJing. They explored parts of a DJ controller, Play & Cue buttons, how to start and stop songs smoothly, faders and volume control, jog wheel basics, an intro to scratching, equipment care and responsibility, performance confidence, and reading the crowd.

We’re so proud of their curiosity, teamwork, and growth this month!

Our scholars have been diving into the world of civil and structural engineering—exploring how bridges stand strong, buildings take shape, and communities are built with intention. 🏗️🧠

From curiosity to creativity, learning doesn’t stop when the school day ends. Swipe to see our future engineers in action! 👉🏾✨
