Huge shout out to Mauro who started his first job at Sneade's Ace Home Center. So thankful to Ben and Dana for this opportunity for him. Those that know Mauro know he will do amazing things.
Let's encourage Mauro. This is a big deal for him and for the Autism community.

Week #7 - Awesome week!
We had a few major accomplishments to pass along:

1. Cameron went under water on his own. This has been a long battle but he finally did it. He has been allowing others to push his head under but this past week he found the courage to do it on his own.
2. Finn initiated a good bye. While Finn is incredibly verbal he has always had a hard time initiating saying good bye. I nearly fell over when he said good bye unprompted on Wednesday as he was leaving. His mom was equally shocked.

So proud of you guys and everyone else for another awesome week.

Week #6 - done!
In addition to our regular weekly activities of swimming, bowling, and dessert at Rita's they served at the Chesapeake Cares Food Pantry. Our guys enjoyed lunch at Jerry's Subs and Pizza and completed several baking projects.

We live by the rule "no whining, no complaining and no quitting." They have followed that all summer.

These dudes are the absolute best!

So very impressed by these guys. They make me so proud.

Four down and four more to go.

Week #4 was another great one! So blessed to have such a hardworking crew that helps, encourages and supports one another.

Huge shout out to Matthew for trying the "spicy" steak at Chipotle and to Finn for attending his first week of camp at TAP.

Still rolling along with camp.

Mauro got a big surprise when he opened the money bin at the vets and saw a $50 and $100 bill. We added several new exercises in the pool to improve strength and kicking. Bowling continues to be a wonderful weekly activity. The guys have really improved. No bumpers, of course. We ate lunch at 5 Guys and had our usual dessert at Rita's. The food pantry makes our week so enjoyable. These guys love to give back and help others.

Another awesome week at summer camp. The guys played board games, did a rope walk, teamwork challenge and continued their hard work in the pool. They are now treading water for a full minute.

They also did their weekly volunteer jobs at the food pantry, had lunch at Chesapeake Grille and dessert at Rita's. Such a fun crew of guys!

Thank you to Sneade's for their April Round Up for Autism Awareness. They recently presented a check for $6,000 to TAP with Zach as the happy recipient. Zach really enjoyed goofing off with you, Ben.

These guys work so hard outside. They love the sunshine. Charlie loves to push the heavy cart, Zach enjoys his walks and Lucas always smiles on the bike.
Happy to see our guys outside exercising rather than inside on devices.
