Northern Calvert Little Free Pantry

The pantry is starting to run low of many items . Now that the school year has started , snacks that work for lunches are especially useful . There are no toiletries available . In the coming months we will replace the wood structure - but in the meantime, please continue to support the community .

It’s hot out there! The pantry could use liquid IV, water , empty water bottles, Gatorade, juice, shelf stable milk . Everyone needs to stay hydrated ! And things for summer for kids! And books for all ages! Think about the summer treats you remember and what we can stash in the pantry !

Good morning! Tuna takeover in the pantry annex …… but seriously, don't you get tired of the same old tuna routine? Diversity is key! Are you an every-day-tuna kind of person or do you want some other protein options that are easy to grab and go? Share your faves with us for the Little Free Pantry! Plenty of room !

Good evening ! At the moment the wooden pantry is very full of canned items . But most of those are all the same few varieties of items . We need fruit and protein. We always need protein!

The additional box storage is quite empty . This is the time to add items like pasta, rice , mac and cheese, cereal , bread mixes , drinks for the hot weather and snacks! We also have no personal hygiene items !

Thanks to everyone bringing books. It’s also the time to leave small summer toys and items that might be needed like sunscreen and bug spray !

Thank you all for keeping the pantry running and helping the community !

April 24 update : thanks to a generous pantry donor they have advised us that the bottom shelf in the tall cupboard has broken on one side. If someone can check on it and repair before we can later this weekend - please do. Help from the community is always appreciated!
