Our meeting minutes from yesterday's gathering are now posted. Thank you to everyone who joined us at Central Park as we lounged in the grass, listening to the water flowing from the fountain! And now...it's time to announce our next meet-up!

Our next Silent Book Club Owatonna meet-up will be Saturday, July 18, 12-1:30pm at Mineral Springs Brewery - find us on the patio!

P.S. Mac Shack will be on site with their food truck!

Hello Readers!

We’ve got a couple of updates to help keep Silent Book Club Owatonna strong and sustainable!

First, we’ll be sunsetting our Goodreads group due to low engagement. We’re focusing our energy on the parts of the club that bring us together most which is gathering, reading, and building community in person.

That being said, we’ve also got a simple way to support the club moving forward: we’re now an affiliate with Bookshop.org. That means when you purchase books through our link, 10% of your sale comes back to Silent Book Club Owatonna at no extra cost to you. AND, what's even better is that you are also supporting Indie Bookstores.

Generated funds will help us cover things like venue space, and any remaining proceeds at the end of the year will be donated to a local charity in Steele County. No funds will go towards SBCO organizers at any time. If you'd like to check out our shop, head to https://bookshop.org/shop/sbco

No pressure. This is just an easy option if you’re already book shopping and want your book purchases to give back locally.
