→ You want to do God's will. So you analyze every decision, every opportunity, and every mistake.

→ You keep asking: "Was that God?" "Did I miss it?" "What if I make the wrong choice?" And the pressure never stops.

→ Eventually, following God starts feeling stressful. Not because He's hard to follow. Because you're afraid to get it wrong.

→ But God isn't waiting for you to perform perfectly. He's willing to teach you as you go.

→ You're going to make mistakes. You're going to miss things. You're going to have moments where you get it wrong. That doesn't scare Him.

→ Repentance isn't groveling. It's simply turning back toward Him. Again and again and again.

→ God isn't looking for flawless people. He's looking for people who keep listening, keep responding, and keep walking with Him.

→ The goal isn't perfection. The goal is trust.

→ Today, stop replaying the mistake. Stop trying to figure everything out. Turn your attention back to God and take the next step He's already shown you.

What looks like God holding back is actually God holding you together.

That thought came out of Acts 5, the chapter where Peter's shadow healed the sick, and where Ananias and Sapphira died for lying to the Holy Spirit. That level of power and that level of purity showed up at the same time. You don't get one without the other.

Here's what that means for us today:

→ When the power of God shows up to that degree, the little things you used to get away with, you can't get away with anymore.

→ God in His mercy withholds His power as a protection, because He knows if we really got what we were asking for before we were ready, it wouldn't end well.

→ He's not distant. He's building you up to what you're asking for.

The delay isn't rejection. It's preparation.

→ You read your Bible. You pray. You try to do the right thing.→ But sometimes it still feels like you're falling behind...

→ But sometimes it still feels like you're falling behind.

→ So you try harder. More discipline. More effort. More guilt.

→ Eventually, following Jesus can start to feel exhausting.

→ Not because God is asking too much of you, but because you've forgotten where everything starts.

→ God's love isn't the reward for getting everything right. It's the foundation you build your life on.

→ You're not trying to earn His love. You're learning to live from it.

Today, stop asking: "Have I done enough?"

Instead, ask: "Have I forgotten how loved I am?"

→ Eventually, you start believing the problem is you.

→ But righteousness isn't earned through perfect behavior. It's a gift given through faith in Jesus.

→ You're not fighting to earn God's peace. Through Christ, you already have peace with God.

→ And underneath it all is this simple truth: Jesus loves you.

→ Today, stop trying to earn God's approval. Instead, identify one area where you've been striving. Then thank Jesus for what He's already given you there:

Righteousness. Peace. Love. Start from that place.

Somewhere along the way, most of us picked up the idea that God is keeping score. That a good week moves you closer and a bad one moves you further away.

But that's not how righteousness works. It was never about your performance. It was always about the blood of Jesus, and that never changes based on what you did yesterday.
