We’re hiring a Camp Nurse for Summer 2026! 🌿

This is a great role for someone who would enjoy spending the summer doing nursing work that feels personal, practical, and connected to a community. At Camp Onas, our nurse is a part of daily camp life and a respected member of our overnight summer camp staff.

The Camp Nurse helps campers and staff stay healthy, offers care and reassurance, and spends the season on a beautiful property with a supportive team. One of our Directors is also an experienced nurse who supervises and supports our Camp Nurse throughout the summer.

This could be a great fit for an experienced nurse looking for a change of pace in a beautiful outdoor setting, or for an early-career nurse who would benefit from gaining experience, supportive supervision, and belonging to a community.

Summer 2026 Dates: June 22 – August 15th
Live on-site with a private room and bathroom
Meals provided
One day off each week
$500 Full-Season Bonus for full-season contract

Weekly pay:
RN: $1500
LPN: $1400
GN: $1300

The role includes routine care, medication administration, treatment of minor illnesses and injuries, parent communication, and coordination with the Directors when additional care is needed. A huge, thankful shout-out to everyone who came out for Spring Work Day this past weekend.

The weather was perfect, the company was incredible, and we can think of few better ways to spend a May weekend than with old and new friends — caring for a place we love.

Thank you for showing up, pitching in, and helping get Onas ready for the amazing season ahead of us!

You’re invited to an afternoon of spells, strategy, and sorcery at Camp Onas on Sunday, March 1, 2026 for our Camp classic card game: Magic: The Gathering!
Calling all Onas alumni, friends… and friendly foes. Whether you’re a seasoned mage or a novice with untapped potential, this gathering promises epic duels, mana-rich camaraderie, and unforgettable fun.

🍽 Food tokens & potions (aka lunch) provided

We’ll also be building decks for campers from the camp collection—so bring cards to donate or come help us craft something magical for the next generation of planeswalkers.

At Camp Onas, campers live and play in a joyful and caring community where they choose their own activities from a daily schedule that includes visual and performing arts, sports, outdoor skills, adventure challenge, aquatics, and more. Campers sleep in large platform tents and pavilions where 6-8 campers, placed by age, live with 2-4 counselors in a "home without walls".

Our entire program is based on cooperation, self-exploration, understanding, creativity, justice, and most essential of all - fun!
