We’re excited to share that our spring sale raised over $8,000 to support child-based organizations in Ottawa!!

A huge thank you to the Ottawa Ottawa, IL VFW Post 2470 for donating the space to make this possible.

Thank you to Ottawa Township High School District 140 & Marquette Academy for allowing your students to help with cleanup.

Thank you to Stevenson Transfer Moving & Storage for donating storage and assisting with delivery & pickup

Thank you to TJ Lewis & Associates, Inc. for donating the Penske truck.

Thank you to Lily Pads Too Resale Boutique Ottawa for taking the remaining items.

And thank you to all of our shoppers and volunteers who gave their time to set up, work the sale, and take everything down.

🎉 Today’s the Day! 🪂💛
In less than an hour, our sweet & spicy friend Kathy Trager will be soaring through the sky with Skydive Chicago — and she’s doing it for the kids!

What started as a $1,000 fundraising goal has skyrocketed to $1,600 and counting!
Thank you to everyone who donated, shared, and cheered her on — you’ve made this moment even more powerful.

🎉 The Countdown Is On! 🪂
This Friday, July 11, Kathy Trager is taking a BIG LEAP for a BIG CAUSE!

At 75 years young, Kathy is skydiving with Skydive Chicago to raise $1,000 for the Child Welfare Guild of Ottawa — and thanks to your support, she’s already at $800!

💛 Kathy checks in at noon, with the jump to follow after a quick video and paperwork. Once she’s geared up, she’ll be flying high — for local kids in need!

💥 If she hits $1,000 by Friday, Skydive Chicago will donate the jump — so every dollar raised goes directly to helping children and families in our Ottawa community.

We’re over halfway there -- let’s help Kathy reach her goal!
