We met last night and the 5 winning girls were chosen. We’ll have a reception sometime in May to meet them and present their awards. Thanks to all for your support!!

We’re going over all applications now and will decide which girls are the winners. Will announce in April and notify them.

We’re in the process of collecting and reading submissions for the 5 scholarships to be given away. The committee will decide by April. They will be awarded after that.

Thanks to community support we raised enough money from the annual book sale to grant five $1,000 scholarships for 5 deserving girls!! We will be deciding next year who will get the money and awarding it in the spring.

We’re meeting soon to discuss how many scholarships we can give next year. Also how / who may want to inherit the book sale from us. Any non profit up for it? Let me know!!

Thanks to the community for another great book sale. We will be giving more college scholarships to some local girls!! We’re meeting next month to decide about the future of the book sale.

We’re finally doing this!! Please join us for the LAST AAUW book sale! We’re joining Prairie Fox books in Washington Park on October 15 & 16 from 8-4. We have lots of books and want to thank the community for their support over the years.
