For those of you that love that Boston Terrier mix, meet Lao! He's hilarious and full of wild antics that someone is sure to adore. Somehow, Lao ended up as a stray and no one came forward so their loss is definitely, someone else's gain.
Lao isn't a fan of being crated for car rides but is eager to go for a car ride. He thinks he should be looking out the window too. Lao thinks everyone is his friend, whether human or dog too.
Lao: male, Boston Terrier mix, approx. 2.5 yrs old and 21 pounds.

This whole month, you never know what dog will get selected to wear some sort of costume. The day after the Fall Fix Fest, it was Hattie May's turn to wear a dress which was pretty subdued compared to some of the costumes you'll see paraded around here.

Hattie May is available for adoption and you could put your own costume on her!

The second day of the Fall Fix is underway! There were some long waits but we want to thank everyone for their patience and understanding. When working with dogs and cats, events like this don't always go as planned and it seems like no matter how we plan, it just takes longer than we expect.
We understand that there are disappointed people because they weren't able to get their dog or cat fixed but physically we are just unable to do the number of spays and neuters that our area needs.
We know we are making small dent in the numbers and will keep plugging way at it.
Thank you to our veterinarians, vet staff, vet students and volunteers that traveled hours to be part of this event. Without them, we couldn't do this and we appreciate their willingness to be here and help.
