Due to the fires in Spokane, DSHS has postponed today’s mobile service to focus support on the families currently affected. We are keeping everyone impacted in our thoughts during this difficult time and appreciate the community’s understanding as resources are directed where they are needed most.

Farm to Food Pantry is back this week, thanks to the support of Washington State Department of Agriculture and Harvest Against Hunger in bringing fresh, locally grown food to our community.

Please join us in showing appreciation for the farmers who continue to support our community during these challenging times. This program allows us to purchase food directly from local growers, helping strengthen our local food system while providing healthy, fresh food for the families we serve.

Yesterday, We honor and celebrate Grace Shelby a wonderful member of our Food Bank family as she retires. Her dedication, compassion, and hard work have played a vital role in supporting our mission to fight food insecurity in our community.
She has been instrumental in expanding our networks, strengthening our capacity, and encouraging volunteerism that has touched the lives of so many clients and families. Her efforts have made a lasting impact, and her legacy will continue to be felt for years to come.
We are deeply grateful for her service, leadership, and heart for our community. She will be greatly missed, and we wish her all the best in this new chapter of her life. Congratulations on your retirement!
