A little reminder that social media is a highlight reel. đ
Instagram is usually where people post the âgoodâ photos. Especially as someone who competes in a competition where it can feel like everyone is expected to look and act âperfectâ all the time.
But hereâs the truthâweâre all human.
For every polished headshot, perfectly timed stage photo, or glamorous gown picture from Miss Wisconsin week, there are about 100 photos that look like these. đ
The weird faces. The awkward poses. The blurry candids. The moments where Iâm laughing so hard I canât stand up straight. The âwhat was I even doing?â pictures. We get tired, stressed, make mistakes, and if you know me⌠Iâm usually hungry.
Even if someone seems like they have everything perfectly put together, I promise you they donât. No one is perfect, no matter what their social media might make it seem like.
So instead of another post full of polished photos, hereâs the true Trinity.
The weird Trinity. The awkward Trinity. The always-hungry Trinity. The one making random faces, laughing way too hard, and enjoying every second of Miss Wisconsin week. Honestly, these are some of my favorite memories because theyâre real.
Itâs so easy to scroll through social media and think everyone else has it all together. But behind every âperfectâ post is a real person whoâs goofy, awkward, emotional, exhausted, and just trying to enjoy the moment.
So hereâs your reminder to embrace your weird, laugh at yourself, keep the bloopers, and stop worrying about looking perfect. Those imperfect moments are usually the ones youâll look back on and love the most. đ¤
