Demonic oppression in the mind or emotions is something that believers encounter. These attacks happen because the enemy resents God’s people and because your alignment with Jesus threatens the powers of darkness. But if you continue to grow in your relationship with Jesus and do His will, there is no oppression that God can’t deliver you from. His desire is for every believer to recognize these attacks and learn how to overcome them. And He wants to transform you from someone who feels powerless into someone who experiences victory and then helps others experience the same.

God’s voice is meant to draw you deeper into a relationship with Him. This means that His voice is not just about instruction. It’s also about connection. As you spend time prayerfully pursuing His presence and studying His Word, His voice becomes increasingly familiar, much like the voice of a loved one. In fact, you will come to personally know that His voice is alive and dynamic and that it brings you guidance, joy, strength, and peace. So, continue to pursue Him, and take heart because He is speaking to you in a personal way that only you will know.

American freedoms today were secured through the lives of many soldiers who fought and even gave their own lives to protect them. Though time may forget their sacrifices, those who give their lives out of love and for the good of others will never be forgotten by Him. Their actions reflect the sacrifice Jesus made for us all. So today, let’s honor our veterans and remember their courage and service.

The baptism, or infilling, of the Holy Spirit is God’s plan for every believer because without the Spirit, Christianity is impossible to fully understand or live out. The same Spirit who was poured out on believers at Pentecost – giving them supernatural strength and every spiritual blessing to live for Christ – wants to fill your life, too. He wants to empower you to become all He created you to be and to accomplish all He has planned for you to do. So, open your heart to Jesus today and make room for a fresh encounter with His Spirit. Then, you can fully step into your calling and purpose on earth.
