Joy Rising Joy Rising exists to enrich the lives of our neighbors by offering meaningful experiences of joy that are accessible to all people.

Joy Rising is a community partner of Salem United Methodist Church in Orwigsburg, PA. At a time when life is stressful and we are all just trying to make it through the day, “Joy Rising” exists to break into the mundane and offer the experience of JOY. Through engagement at community events and surprise bursts of "pop-up joy", Joy Rising is committed to improving the quality of life for all of our

neighbors, with no strings attached. We believe that EVERYONE deserves joy and that all areas of our lives improve when joy is experienced. We also believe that joy is contagious, and that life is better when joy is shared! We believe that by increasing access to joy we will create a chain reaction that will fill our community with hope and life. Joy Rising is the partner of Salem United Methodist Church in Orwigsburg, PA.
