Please keep sweet Alex and his family in your thoughts and prayers as they transition into hospice care. My heart breaks for them. There is a link below to donate if you are able to do so.

We met with the team today 💔 Everyone loves Alex so much and was heartbroken seeing him in so much pain! There were tears flowing heavily! Alex was asking for the Drs asking for the nurses to help him he wanted to be poked, he was asking for the hospital bed 😔😔💔ugh it’s so sad! He barely communicates and he’s asking for HELP! My heart hurts for him! Dr. Pitts (Palliative Dr) was so amazing and made sure we left with all the pain medication he needed to help him with some relief, Dr Wright and Dr Pitts were very sensitive and supportive they answered so many questions and we have a plan! Not the plans you should ever have to make for your baby! Our chaplains were there and Kristin(chaplain) who we met when Alex was first admitted was walking in the hospital right as we were getting there as if God placed her there in that moment for me! We are transitioning to hospice care and they will come to our home on Monday and meet Alex and our family! The plan is for hospice to check in once a week and report to the APH palliative team. hospice is also going to be able to provide resources for his brothers (thinking of them and how they feel and how cancer has affected them is what hurts me the most)! We are still trying to figure out Alexs pain but it does seem better after one dose of the methadone. He actually wanted to play but then quickly screamed out in pain when he couldn’t standup and once again heartbreak and tears! We will see how he does tonight and we might be adjusting his pain medication again. But first need to see how he does with the medications. Thank you for all your love, prayers,positive thoughts and energy🙏🙏🙏🎗️🎗️ we could use all the support we can get and we are running on empty just trying to process and understand everything! This Christmas season was filled with hope, comfort, and joy—and it was all because of the incredible generosity of our donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community.

Because of you, Live Like Cameron was able to bring Christmas joy to pediatric oncology patients who spent the holiday in the hospital and grant gift wishes to our local childhood cancer families. We are beyond grateful for every person and business who stepped up to make this season so special.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of the Hammock Dunes Women’s Golf Association, we were able to provide gift wishes to our Flagler County children and teens affected by childhood cancer—and all of their siblings.

Because of everyone involved with Shave for the Brave, we were also able to provide gift wishes to our Volusia County children and teens affected by childhood cancer and all of their siblings.

We were honored to deliver Christmas joy through our Christmas Bags of Hope to pediatric oncology patients spending the holidays at Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville, Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital, and Advent for Children in Orlando—along with delivering countless toys to our local childhood cancer families.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, sponsored, collected toys, and supported our mission. If we missed anyone, please know it was not intentional—your kindness and generosity mean more than words can express. None of this would be possible without you.

Last weekend’s 6th Annual Shave for the Brave was an incredible success, and our hearts are full of gratitude for everyone who helped make it so meaningful.

An extra special thank you to all of our amazing sponsors; the Fletcher family; the incredible staff at Fletcher's Irish Pub; Proper Barber; John Craig for organizing the co****le tournament; Santa and Mrs. Claus; our dedicated volunteers; our talented baked-goods bakers; and of course, every shavee and donor who showed up and showed heart.

We also had a fantastic time during the Pub Crawl the weekend before, visiting and celebrating the local establishments that sponsored this event—thank you for welcoming us and supporting our mission.

Because of all of you, Live Like Cameron was able to make this holiday extra special for pediatric oncology patients who will be spending Christmas in the hospital, and to grant gift wishes to our childhood cancer families in Flagler County and Volusia County. Seeing the transformations when the beards come off never gets old—and each shave truly makes a difference. Thank you for shaving it off for such a great cause.
