Our Friday Painters traded paintbrushes for a little Halloween crafting this week and made the cutest ghosts in a jar! 👻✨

With a few simple supplies, some creativity, and plenty of laughs around the table, these little glowing ghosts came to life. We love seeing this group try something different and make something fun together!

A little spooky, a lot adorable, and perfect for October. 🎃

We were excited to see OASIS featured on KSBY! 📺💚

KSBY stopped by to talk about how local senior centers can provide a safe, comfortable place for older adults to get out of the heat during extreme temperatures.

A big thank you to Michelle for representing OASIS and sharing more about the importance of having welcoming community spaces and resources available when the weather gets hot.

We’re so glad to help spread the word about the support available to older adults in our community!

As temperatures rise, senior centers in Santa Maria, Guadalupe and Orcutt are offering older adults a place to cool down, socialize and connect with community resources.

This morning’s USDA Commodities distribution was a busy one! 💚

A big thank you to everyone who came out, and to the volunteers and team members who helped keep everything moving and get food into the hands of our community.

We’re grateful to be able to offer programs like this through our partnership with the Foodbank and appreciate everyone who helps make these distributions possible each month.

Keep an eye on the OASIS newsletter and weekly eBlasts for upcoming Foodbank distribution dates and other community resources!

Big news for OASIS! 🎉 We’re so excited to share that OASIS received a $2,500 award from Community Bank of Santa Maria!

A very special thank you to Darrell Freeman, who was selected from the group of nominators and chose to nominate OASIS. Thanks to his nomination, we were selected to receive this generous award!

We were thrilled to officially accept the big check and celebrate with members of our OASIS community. We’re so grateful to Darrell for thinking of us and to Community Bank of Santa Maria for supporting local nonprofits and the work we do.

Thank you for helping us continue to serve, connect, and bring our community together! 💚

Ceramics class is always better when you get to create together. 🎨💚

There was plenty of painting, shaping, chatting, laughing, and helping each other along the way as everyone worked on their latest pieces this morning!

We love seeing this group come together each week, share ideas, and enjoy a little creative time side by side. There’s just something special about making things with good company.

A little unexpected excitement at OASIS today! 🚀

Our lunch crew and knitting group all headed out to the porch together to catch the Vandenberg launch, and it turned into such a fun spontaneous moment.

Nothing planned, nothing fancy — just everyone stopping for a few minutes to look up and enjoy something really neat together!

We love these little moments that bring everyone together at OASIS. 💛

Yesterday’s Grocery Rescue was a huge success! 🛒💚

Thanks to our partnership with the Foodbank and the generous support of Grocery Outlet, we were able to offer a wonderful variety of rescued groceries to our community, including meats, eggs, dairy items, frozen foods and more.

We had a fantastic turnout, and it was wonderful to see so much food go home with people who could put it to good use. Grocery Rescue helps keep good food from going to waste while supporting members of our community at the same time.

A huge THANK YOU to Grocery Outlet and the Foodbank for helping make this possible, and thank you to everyone who came out! 💚

Those tables were FULL, and we loved seeing such a great response!
