When the state had to replace the bridge on Winding Road, our directional sign for the Twins and Josiah Hess Covered Bridges had to be removed. Now that the bridge has been replaced, it is time to replace our sign.
Thanks to a dedicated crew, our sign is back!

Great News! The Theodore Burr Society has been awarded a grant for $2100 for a National Register of Historic Places historic marker for Pomeroy-Academia Covered Bridge in Juniata County - the longest covered bridge in PA.

This isn't Columbia County, but our neighbors, Montour County, bridge. The Sam Wagner Bridge was closed for some time. It has been reopened with a "headache" bar. This is such a pretty spot. A farm is right next to the bridge on one side and the fields on the other.
