I want to personally give a shout out to Lisa Hurley and all those who volunteered this past Thursday at the Lightstreet carnival scooping ice cream and selling bake goods... Also to all those who made the baked goods for the night. The remaining sweets were donated to the fire department for the rest of the week. If you had a container that you want back let me know as they said they will get them to me. I believe we had a really good night and the fire department was really appreciative. Thank you for letting the light of Jesus shine through each of you... you are truly a blessing

How often do we worry or get anxious things that come into our lives forgetting God is timeless and already worked it out before He created anything. Philippians 4:6 reminds us that we are not to be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by or a prayer and petition, with Thanksgiving, make your requests to God. Friends, the enemy wants nothing less than to get our focus on those situations in our lives that God has already worked out to keep our focus off of God. When you feel yourself getting anxious, remember that in ALL things, God works for the good of those who love Him. God's got it, so let him have your anxiety because He loves you. God bless!!

Do you fear not having a goal, a direction, a mission; do you fear the future? Are you just treading water and want to know what God’s will for your life is?

God rarely shows us the final steps, but He always shows us the first steps: Trust Him, not your own understanding; acknowledge Him and “He shall direct your path” (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Good evening church family... VBS is just around the corner and as I was sitting here thinking about it an idea popped in my mind. uh oh!!!! Pr. Steve has an idea, and yes that can be dangerous😂😂😂 I know there are some people in our church family that can sew, whether by hand or with a sewing machine and I have a super big favor to ask. I know we only have a couple of weeks till it starts but I was wondering if there were some people who might have the time to make superhero capes for the volunteers, both group leaders and team leaders. The group leaders are in charge of the groups like, snack, game, craft, and memory verse time; and the team leaders are those over the different age groups and then there would be our worship leader and Pr. Georgia and myself. If you have the time and are interested in investing in this event, I would greatly appreciative. Please be in prayer for this week that we would get the new kids other than those that come to our church and that souls would come to Jesus as a result of our effort. Know you are all loved by the Pickett family.

Good evening Journeymate men!!! I am here to invite you all to join us this coming Saturday at Pr. Tom and Tracy's house to cut down, split and stack some trees that they need cut up. We will be meeting at 8am so if you are willing and have a chainsaw, or other machinery to split the wood so it can be stacked for use later, please let me know at your earliest convenience. The more we have, the quicker we can get the job done. Thank you ahead of time and may God richly bless you for your willingness to help bless our pastor and his wife. Pr. Steve

What an awesome day in the house of the Lord today as we had the privilege of praying for healing of a baby that was shaken by her father and was brain dead, talked about the question are we watchers or sleepers taken from Mark 14:32-42 where Jesus asks Peter, James, and John to watch with him as he went to talk to his Father, and they fell asleep. As we ended the service, we were given an update on the baby we had just prayed for, and she opened her eyes and was responsive to touch and pain. Praise God for His healing power. Then to be able to preach at the Hazelton campus and watch God show up in an incredible way as He spoke to each one of our hearts. Thank you, Jesus, for allowing us to experience your presence once again!!! Please see the sermon from this afternoon as I forgot to stream it this morning. I want to Thank God for giving us the opportunity to perform the Living Last Supper and for His faithfulness in answering prayer. I also want to give a big shout out and biggest thanks to Pr. Tom, Craig, Frank, Tim, John, Charlie, Spencer, Greg, Mike, Dakota, Rob, and Myron for stepping out of your comfort zone and stepping into the role that you played in the Living Lord's Supper. It is because of your willingness to serve that we have a new sister in God's family. It is because of each of you that God was able to speak to the hearts of each person present yesterday, so thank you from the bottom of my heart. I look forward to getting to know you all better as we look to the rest of this year and the many opportunities that God is going to put in our way to get together and to serve Him. I also want to give a big shout out and thanks to Bryna for being willing to run sound and the video for yesterday's service, and to Bonnie for helping behind the scenes and for stepping in to be our narrator yesterday, and to my wife Georgia for being my biggest encourager when things weren't going the way I thought or wanted them to go. You are all a huge blessing to me. May God bless you all and may His protection be upon you and your family because of the way God moved yesterday!! Have a great day!! Pr. Steve
