The Orangevale Grange #354 is hosting an excellent educational speaker Wednesday evening- free and open to the public! Stick around and hear what’s happening with your local Grange at their meeting to follow.

Join us tomorrow evening for a presentation by the local 4H and the Veterinarian in Charge from the CDFA for our pre-meeting programming tomorrow night - Wed June 17th at 6PM.

Come to support the local 4H kids who will speak on their projects and gain a little practice with public speaking, then stay for an informative presentation by the CDFA on protecting your small animals.

All are welcome to stay for the regular business meeting at the close of the presentations.

We hope to see you there!

The Sacramento County Agricultural Commissioner’s Office is issuing an urgent public alert regarding grapevine plants sold at Costco Wholesale stores in Sacramento County infested with the glassy-winged sharpshooter (GWSS), an invasive insect that poses a serious threat to California’s vineyards.

Between April 21, 2026, and May 21, 2026, Costco Wholesale locations received multiple shipments of grapevines from Burchell Nursery, Inc., located in Fresno County. All life stages of GWSS have been detected on these shipments across multiple counties, including Sacramento, Sonoma, Marin, Solano, Yolo and others.
