💔🕊️ MY HEART ACHES FOR OUR CHILDREN. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
How many more children must suffer? How many more families must grieve? How many more young lives must be lost before we take bullying and school violence seriously?
As a mother, a humanitarian, and a peace advocate, my heart is deeply troubled by the heartbreaking stories of children being bullied, humiliated, threatened, and pushed into situations that sometimes end in unimaginable tragedy.
💔 Children are going to school to learn, yet some are living in fear.
💔 Some are crying themselves to sleep, afraid to face another school day.
💔 Some are suffering silently because they believe nobody is listening.
💔 And tragically, some families are left mourning children who should still be alive today.
THIS MUST STOP!
No mother should have to bury her child because of bullying or school violence.
No father should have to identify his child in a morgue instead of welcoming them home from school.
No child should feel that suffering in silence is their only option.
Our schools should be places of education, safety, dignity, friendship, and opportunity — not fear, humiliation, or violence.
We cannot continue to react only when tragedy strikes. We must act before another life is lost.
I am calling upon our parents, educators, school administrators, students, mayors, city councils, state legislators, senators, law enforcement agencies, prosecutors’ offices, faith leaders, and community organizations to stand together.
We need more than conversations.
We need prevention.
We need accountability.
We need compassion.
We need mental health support.
We need stronger communication between schools and families.
We need to teach our children empathy, respect, conflict resolution, and the value of human life.
And most importantly, we must listen when a child cries out for help.
Bullying is not a rite of passage. Violence is not a solution. Silence is not protection.
To every child who has been bullied:
❤️ You matter.
❤️ Your voice matters.
❤️ Your life matters.
❤️ You deserve to feel safe.
❤️ You are not alone.
To every parent: Let us teach our children that kindness is strength, respect is a responsibility, and standing up for someone who is suffering is an act of courage.
I refuse to accept a world where children must lose their lives before adults recognize their pain.
Through 1000 Shades of Women Foundation International, I am committed to advocating for stronger community and school peacebuilding initiatives that bring families, educators, government officials, and law enforcement together to prevent bullying and violence.
🕊️ LET US BUILD A GENERATION THAT CHOOSES PEACE OVER VIOLENCE, COMPASSION OVER CRUELTY, AND UNITY OVER DIVISION.
Because every child deserves a future.
Every child deserves protection.
And every child deserves to come home safely.
LET US ACT BEFORE ANOTHER FAMILY HAS TO SAY GOODBYE.
With a heavy heart, but an unwavering commitment to peace,
