Seeing all these pictures of smiling students of all ages joyfully welcoming the new school year in many parts of the world, truly warms up my heart. It really reenforces my belief that indeed the future of our world depends on how we educate these children. Education fosters HOPE, hope of a better future. That is what we believe at Haiti Hope House www.haitihopehouse.org That is what we are all about: the hope of a better future through education. Here are a few more pictures of HHH's students in Musac, Haiti.

Despite the challenges that we face because of the current situation in Haiti, we are still making a positive difference in the life of the people in the name of Jesus Christ and giving them hope for a better future. Besides the Education Program, we have built a Learning Center which is providing much needed services to the community starting with electricity from a solar energy system which helps them charge their cell phones, the only mean of communication available. The Learning Center also has a library, the first and only one in the community. It includes a media center which provides them access to the Internet, and documents management service.

The new school year has begun. Once again Haiti Hope House like it has done for the past 15 years is busy getting the children in the Education Program in class. There are 100 of them again this year, 59 girls and 41 boys 5 to 16 years old from 12 participating schools, from 1st grade to 9th grade.
All tuitions are paid and some monetary assistance is provided for the purchase of school supplies. Below are pictures of some of the children in three different schools.

Fifteen years and counting! This is how long that Haiti Hope House's "Hope Through Education" Mission has been in Mizak, Haiti, helping to educate children whose parents cannot afford to send them to school. Since September 2010, after the devastating earthquake of 1/12/2010, to this day, Haiti Hope House has paid for the education of more than 400 children. The opening of school for the 2025-2026 is set for October 1st, and we are ready. Last year we had 85 children. This year, after a yes vote of the Board of Directors at the 3rd. quarter meeting, we decided to increase the number, from this time forward to 100, in order to help even more children go to school. The roster is ready; 100 children, 62 girls and 38 boys, from age 5 to 15, attending 12 participating schools in 1st grade to 9th grade will participate in the HHH Education Program this school year. Seventy-three (73) are returning students, and Twenty-seven (27) are entering the program for the first time. Attached are pictures of a few returning students. All of them will be attending the 9th grade from different schools. Besides the Education Program, Haiti Hope House also operates the HHH Learning Center to serve the Mizak community; from providing them the electricity from our solar energy system for charging their cell phones, their only mean of communication, to having the first and only library in the community open for them all-day Monday to Friday, and half a day on Saturday. Internet access is also available to them in The Learning Center's media room. You can get more information about Haiti Hope House by vising our website at www.haitihopehouse.org
