The generosity of our community continues to amaze us!

Following their Baby Manna mission project, the congregation of First Methodist of Opelika donated 547 pounds of baby wipes and baby essentials, along with a generous financial gift to support local families.

These donations will help stock our Baby Manna area and provide much-needed items for parents and caregivers who visit the Community Market.

We are deeply grateful for the partnership and support of First Methodist of Opelika. Thank you for helping us care for our neighbors and ensuring that families with young children have access to essential resources.

Summer is here and for many families in our community, it can be a tough time of year. One simple but powerful way you can help is by donating food. Our greatest need right now is for canned goods—all types. Please come by Glynn Smith Chevrolet in Opelika on Tuesday and drop off your canned goods.

Please support this drive. Every pound of food helps!

What a special day for the Community Market of East Alabama!

Yesterday, we celebrated the ribbon cutting of Project Mustard Seed, the Leadership Lee County Class of 2025-2026 service project. What was once an underutilized outdoor space has been transformed into a welcoming area where individuals and families can gather, connect, learn, and grow.

This project represents the power of community partnerships and servant leadership. We are incredibly grateful to the Leadership Lee County Class, sponsors, donors, volunteers, and community partners who invested their time, talents, and resources to make this vision a reality.

Thank you for helping create a space that fosters dignity, belonging, and connection for our neighbors. We look forward to seeing the impact of Project Mustard Seed for years to come!

What a beautiful harvest! We are so grateful for our partnership and for the fresh produce being shared with Community Market shoppers. Thank you for growing food, building community, and helping local families enjoy healthy, nutritious fruits and vegetables.

The garden was showing off today! 🍅🌶️🍆

We picked everything from yummy tomatoes to curly eggplants that look like they belong in a Dr. Seuss book. Best of all, every bit of today's harvest is being donated to local families. Thank you Community Market of East Alabama for helping us share these goodies with our community!

Fresh from the garden, straight to the community. 💚
