Today we are proud to highlight Jeffrey Saravia! 🎓

Jeffrey is the oldest of four siblings, and his family is originally from El Salvador. He has been part of the Esperanza House family for many years, and we have had the privilege of watching him grow into the remarkable young man he is today.

We also want to congratulate and honor his parents for their unwavering love, sacrifice, and support throughout the years. Their encouragement has played an important role in Jeffrey’s success.

Jeffrey is a hardworking, dedicated, and respectful young man. He has a kind heart and a genuine spirit that makes him easy to love. Everyone who meets Jeffrey quickly recognizes his character and integrity. He is truly one of the finest young men you could ever meet.

Jeffrey, we are incredibly proud of you and all that you have accomplished. We love you and are excited to see what the Lord has in store for your future. We pray that God continues to guide your steps and bless this next chapter of your life.

Today we are highlighting Alexa Serrano! 🎓✨

Alexa and her siblings started with Esperanza House when she was in elementary school. Alexa and her family are originally from Mexico, and throughout the years she has shown incredible determination, perseverance, and dedication to her education.

We are so proud to celebrate Alexa as she graduated with honors! 🏅 From a young age, Alexa worked extremely hard to excel academically and even tested out of the ELL program within just two years an amazing accomplishment that reflects her commitment and work ethic.

Alexa plans to take a gap year before pursuing her career, and we know God has wonderful plans ahead for her future. 💙

Congratulations to her parents as well for their constant support, encouragement, and sacrifices throughout the years to help Alexa succeed.

🎓 Graduate Spotlight: Allan Chilel 🎓

Today we are celebrating Allan Chilel and his incredible achievement of graduating from high school! 🎉
Allan has been a part of the Esperanza House family since elementary school. He has two younger siblings who look up to him. This fall, Allan plans to attend Southern Union State Community College to pursue a career as a mechanic.

We would also like to congratulate Allan’s parents, who are originally from Guatemala, for their love, sacrifice, and support throughout his educational journey. Allan is a first-generation high school graduate, and his accomplishment will serve as an inspiration and example for his younger siblings and many others in our community.

We are proud of all that Allan has accomplished and look forward to seeing the plans God has for him in this new season of life.

The kids will be spending every day learning new skills, reviewing material from the school year to get ready for fall, and most importantly being shown the love of Jesus Christ!

🎓✨ Graduate Spotlight: Rosita Chavez ✨🎓

This week, we are excited to highlight our graduates!

Today we celebrate Rosita Chavez. Rosita has been part of the Esperanza House family since she was in the third grade. The daughter of parents originally from Guatemala, Rosita is a wonderful role model to her three younger brothers and has worked diligently throughout her academic journey.

During her senior year, Rosita completed an internship at the Spencer Cancer Center, gaining valuable experience in the healthcare field. This fall, she will attend Southern Union Community College to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse through the Nursing Program.

We would also like to recognize and congratulate Rosita’s mother for her unwavering support, encouragement, and sacrifices throughout the years. Her dedication has played an important role in Rosita’s success.

Please join us in congratulating Rosita on all of her accomplishments and wishing her God’s blessings as she begins this exciting new chapter!

Celebrating with Nohemy! 🎓✨

We are proud to congratulate Nohemy this weekend on graduating from Southern Union State Community College with her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education!

We are incredibly proud of her dedication, perseverance, and commitment to following her dreams. Nohemy came from Venezuela just four years ago without speaking English, and today she is graduating college — what an inspiring accomplishment! 🇻🇪❤️

During the graduation ceremony, Nohemy also had the honor of giving the Invocation, a beautiful reflection of her faith and leadership. During her time at Southern Union, she was also a member of the track team and received an award for Athletic & Academic Achievement for her excellence both in the classroom and in athletics. 🏅🏃‍♀️📚

Congratulations as well to her parents for their love and support throughout this journey. We are also thankful to the Hudson Family Foundation for making scholarships available to students and helping create opportunities like this possible.

We are so excited to celebrate Emma Claire this weekend as she graduates from Auburn University! 🎉🦅🎓

Emma Claire began her journey with Esperanza House as a tutor and volunteer during her freshman year. In her second year, she felt called to do more and approached Ms. Odalys about leading a Bible study for young girls alongside Sydney Hill. What started as a step of faith became a beautiful ministry.

For the past three years, Emma Claire has faithfully led Bible studies in partnership with All Christ Church, pouring into the lives of our girls with love, consistency, and purpose. She has truly done life with them building meaningful relationships, walking alongside them, and most importantly, pointing them to Jesus.

Emma Claire has been a tremendous blessing to Esperanza House and to every young girl she has impacted.

Congratulations, Emma Claire! Thank you for your heart, your dedication, and your faithfulness. The best is yet to come! 🧡
