Voices for Children was created to help meet the unique and often critical financial needs of the children assigned to the Guardian ad Litem Program.

Voices for Children, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3), was incorporated in 1992 to benefit the Guardian ad Litem Program of trained volunteers who are appointed to advocate in court, providing a voice for the child of alleged abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Voices for Children additionally provides funding to support recruitment and training of the Guardian ad Litem volunteers with materials, Adoption Day celebrations, and the annual GAL Appreciation Luncheon. Voices for Children is all volunteers; we do not have paid employees. We do not have an office and work from our homes. More than 93% of the funds raised by the organization provides support of our mission statement.

Airline tickets, cash donations, a positive attitude, cases of w**e, donations from contacts and acquaintances, suggestions for additional revenue sources are some of what Richard Trzaskoma, Realtor brings to Voices for Children.

As an airline pilot he chose Voices for Children to receive Southwest Airlines airlines tickets from a program offered to their employees. As a realtor with Hickory Hill he has designated some of his fees to our cause. He has been active in our Kids Aging Out/Scholarship project
via his contacts in Lake County. Thank you Richard for all your efforts.

Keeping with our mission to support children who have been neglected in the 5th Judicial Circuit, Voices for Children sponsored a hole in "The Friends of Hope Charity Golf Championship" at Eagle Ridge Golf Course. This tournament benefited Project Hope which is based in Ocala and has developed a unique model that provides solutions for homeless mothers with children. Project Hope helps them become self-sufficient in a short period of time by providing assistance with housing, case management, financial planning and counseling. Voices Board Members Alan Gouge, Dorothy Norman and their spouses Jane and Bob had a blast playing golf while supporting this worthy charity!
