Our hearts are so full. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who walked, ran, donated, and showed up for Team Sarah Shulze Foundation at Malibu Moves this past weekend. To be surrounded by family and friends who loved Sarah and continue to love our family, at her favorite place, Zuma Beach, means more to us than words can ever express.

A very special thank you to Maddie Mooney, Victoria Heigenthal, and Cailyn Biegalski for traveling to be with us. Your presence, love, and support mean the world to us. ❤️

As we celebrate our second year as part of Malibu Moves, we feel Sarah in every part of this event. In the hugs, the laughter, the memories, and the coming together of people who love her. We feel her in the heart of Malibu Moves itself—a celebration of community, movement, and philanthropy. Everything Sarah loved and everything we hope to carry forward in her name.

We may never have enough words to express our gratitude, but please know how deeply each of you means to our family. Thank you for keeping Sarah’s spirit alive and for continuing to show up for her.

Sarah was so much more than the way her story ended. ❤️

She was a daughter, sister, friend, athlete, adventurer — and a young woman with so much more life ahead of her.

Thank you, Todd Valiant Sports Society, for inviting me onto the Be Valiant podcast and giving me the space to share who Sarah really was, beyond running and beyond her death.

I’m grateful for the mission of Playing Fearless — creating healthier sports environments where young athletes can feel supported, valued and empowered for who they are, not just how they perform.

Today, Sarah would have been 26. ❤️

And today, we celebrate a piece of her legacy becoming California law.

AB 1985 — Sarah Shulze’s Law — has been signed into law.

What began with unimaginable heartbreak has become a promise to help protect student-athletes and save lives.

Sarah, your life mattered. Your story matters. And your legacy is making a difference.

A heartfelt thank you to Assemblywoman Jacqui Irwin and her entire office for believing in Sarah and working tirelessly to make this law a reality. We will be forever grateful. ❤️

And we will keep doing our part. The Sarah Shulze Foundation offers free QPR su***de prevention training for students, coaches, parents and community groups—because knowing how to ask, listen and help can save a life.

Happy 26th birthday, Sarah.
We love you. We miss you.
And we will carry your light forward. 🩷

Happy heavenly birthday to our sweet Sarah. 🤍 Today, October 1, is Sarah’s 26th birthday. We especially miss her on days like today, but we carry her in our hearts and know she is with us in everything we do.

Sarah was and is our “for good.” Sarah touched the lives of everyone she met, everywhere she went. She changed the lives of her family, friends, peers and teammates, and we are all better because we knew and loved Sarah. Her energy, advocacy and heart were felt in every room. Her passion for life, power for good, and care for others are all aspects of her that we celebrate and emulate today and every day.

Our foundation is honored to continue carrying Sarah’s legacy. We are proud to support the many causes Sarah believed in and advocated for in her memory. Our motto, “A Power For Good,” represents the person Sarah was and the impact we strive to have with families, students and athletes alike.

Sarah was the daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, teammate and best friend whose energy and love brightened the lives of those around her. ☀️

To celebrate Sarah on her special day, share your favorite memory with her, something that reminds you of her, or something that she taught you. 🤍 We love you and miss you, Sarah. Celebrating you today, and always.

We are so grateful to the Ventura County Department of Education for inviting the Sarah Shulze Foundation and Katie’s Save to be keynote speakers for more than 200 high school students and teachers. 💙

We were honored to share Sarah and Katie’s stories and remind students of the powerful impact they can have on one another.

Our schools are so fortunate to have programs like these that equip students to be compassionate, inclusive, welcoming, and supportive wellness peers. Together, we can create communities where no one feels alone. 💚
