I missed posting about this yesterday (because it was Literacy Kid's first day of school), so here it is! 😊

There are just TWO spots left in our Friday Playgroup!

This is a relaxed playgroup for ages 12 months–5 years with time to play, explore, enjoy circle time with stories, art, and connect with other little ones and caregivers. 💛

We are having a Maker Market on September 12th and would love to invite all the creative kiddos who love to make things!

If your kiddo makes art, crafts, jewelry, treats, or anything else they would like to sell, we’d love to have them join us.

Join me for a birthday party sneak peek! Making birthdays and events special for new and old friends is one of the best parts of my job!

This one is extra special, because one of the kiddos was in my very first baby playgroup 4 years ago! Also, this event is exciting because they won the experience during the PDX Parent | Fun, family-friendly activities in Portland, OR Family Festival!

I love how the universe brought us back together! ✨️🌈

One of my core childhood memories is watching Dolly Parton perform on TV. I loved her then, as a child, and was drawn to her kindness, warmth, and sweet way of connecting with the people around her.

As I grew, I found even more reasons to admire her. Her generosity, her commitment to children, and especially her dedication to putting books into the hands of kids everywhere are such a beautiful part of her legacy.

Dolly has shown that kindness can be powerful, literacy can change lives, and giving children access to books is a gift that keeps on giving.

(Islands in the Stream is and was one of my all time favorite songs of all time)

The kiddos explored an Eric Carle-inspired sensory bin, enjoyed felt storytelling, and had plenty of time to play and explore!
