Join the February 25th meeting of the Oak Grove Community Council being held at 7:00 p.m. at the Oak Lodge Water Services Building located at 14611 SE River Road.

This month, we will hear Willamette View project updates from Craig Van Valkenburg, CEO, and Martha Fritzie, Principal Planner, Clackamas County Department of Transportation and Development | Planning & Zoning. Martha will discuss updates on planning and zoning issues affecting the Oak Grove area.

Our March 25th meeting will feature Mary Rumbaugh, Director of Clackamas County Housing, Health, and Human Services.

This month we will be joined by Clackamas County Commissioner Diana Helm, who will be talking with us about her background, her interests, and the projects and concerns she has for the county. There will also be time for community members to share their interests, hopes, and concerns with the Commissioner.

COMMUNITY ACTION ALERT!!!

Please take note of the following announcement from Clackamas County regarding the naming of the new community center and park at the Concord Property. You have an opportunity to voice your opinion on what the new park and community center will be named. Eight names are listed for you to choose from.

A Naming Committee was formed by North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District in May to choose a name from the over 100 entries submitted by District citizens. The Naming Committee unanimously selected the name "Concord Park and Community Center," and their recommendation was submitted to the Board of County Commissioners for final approval. It is one of the eight names you may choose from. Take the poll by Monday, July 28th.

NCPRD Board seeks more community member input on new park and community center in Oak Grove

The Board of the North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District (NCPRD) is asking community members to provide their opinions on names under consideration for a new park and community center.

Located at 3811 S.E. Concord Rd. in Milwaukie, the new park and community center are slated to open in fall 2025. The center, once the Concord Elementary School, will receive essential improvements. The adjoining park and playground will provide opportunities for inclusive recreation and connections to nature.

The park and community center will be jointly named. The final names under consideration are below.

Join the Oak Grove Community Council general membership meeting this Wednesday, July 23rd, at 7:00 p.m. Meetings are held in person and online. See the flyer for more details.

This month's presentation will feature Leah Johanson and Joel Howie, Civil Engineers for Clackamas County. Leah and Joel will be updating the Community Council on the status of the Kellogg Creek Restoration Project in Milwaukie.
