Precious Cargo Rescue Rides We provide transportation for animals in unsure situations into the safety of rescue Often we are "on-call" for emergency cases as needed .

At Precious Cargo Rescue Rides our mission is to provide transportation for animals in need of rescue. Our goal is working with rescues to help relieve shelter , animal control, veterinary facilities, etc by transporting animals from their unsure situation to the safety of rescue. Our organization bridges the gap that is greatly needed to secure the lives of these animals.

Catching up on posts. RESCUE RIDE for 5 out of the clink! They were part of my multi stop transport.
1- love this guy. He was so sweet & well behaved. Just look at that face 🩵 (sorry it’s a little blurry sometimes Im snapping pictures pretty quickly) But you can still see his soft gentle eyes
2- lookin like a little stuffy 🩵 so cute. Was a little bit no touchy coming out of the shelter…it’s scary for them in there. But did just fine coming out of crate into the rescue
3- senior sweeties lovin the others company. Easy to handle. Someone needs to go get these babies together
4- OH MY 🩵 This baby I could have her shoved in my shirt & kept on rollin. She is so stinkin cute & sweet. When you hold her she wants cuddles…like puts her head on you cuddles. When she was in the crate and I was talking to her, she was rolling upside down for me to rub her belly. It was hard to get a picture of her with the perky ears, but I finally got one and she wasn’t looking at the camera…I’ll take it 😉 Live happy lives babies 🩵

RESCUE RIDE for 1 handsome fella. Oso was part of my multi rescue / drop off transport. But he was solo to Chicagoland Lab Rescue. He’s a sweet shy boy. He was timid but still tried really hard to be brave. We went into the vet with some coaxing & he quietly snuggled in behind me. He’s a good looking boy & with a little tlc he’ll be ready in no time. You’ll be ok buddy you are in good hands. Live a happy life 🩵

RESCUE RIDE for one little man. When Pet Profile Rescue heard about this senior sweetie needing out of the clink asap he was quickly added as one of my passengers & one more stop. He is easy to handle & it sure does seem like he was taking a minute to enjoy the wind on his face. He might look a little rough but Im sure after his spa day & a medical check he’ll have a nice pep in his step. Live a happy life baby 🩵

RESCUE RIDE for one chunk of hunk here! Posting per rescue & he went to Determined To Rise Animal Foundation along with the emaciated Corso. They both needed their own post.
This is what I saw while putting another dog in the van. Boulder head boy dragging Sia around the corner. He’s a BIG strong boy. He doesn’t look as big in the pictures but he’s probably over 100 pounds. He was so interested in me we got a nose boop picture. But then he needed to chill a bit so we could get him in the van. Umm excuse me sir that tongue seems very intentional. He’s happy, licky & wants to sit on you...like a linebacker lol. He would need some basic obedience but if you’re looking for one handsome strong guy look no further. Live a happy life baby 🩵

While I was at the shelter loading dogs I saw something out of the corner of my eye white flash past my tire. My first thought was a cat or something someone let go. But I was in the back parking lot. I didn’t catch what it was & kept loading. I saw it again a few minutes later & saw that it was a parakeet. Well if anybody knows me, I couldn’t just let this be. But what are the odds I’m going to catch a bird out in the open…pretty slim. Between getting dogs loaded I kept trying but it would fly up into a tree or in top of the building. But it also kept coming back down near me. I finally had to give up & get these pups to their destination. She flew back down by the parked cars…I jumped back out of the van I had to try 1 more time. There were plenty of people who saw me doing this and probably thought I lost my mind. She flew up onto the brick wall, which is about shoulder height for me. She turned around and was looking straight at me as I was slowly walking towards her. I had a blanket in my hands. I swear she was taunting me lol. Just as she was about to fly up again I threw the blanket over her. I cannot even explain how excited I was or how happy this made me to actually catch her. She did not feel the same way. I brought her inside and they said we really don’t have a place to put it. So I thought well I guess I’m bringing a bird home. This would not surprise my husband in the slightest. Then one of the women who works there said she had a bird at home and I said good…now you can have two and she said OK. Well that worked out well. When someone in the parking lot said to me, why are you bothering it’s just going to get eaten by a hawk soon anyway…it just made me more determined. Also not realizing this until after I left but there was a pretty nasty car accident probably not even a block away the exact direction I would have been going if I wasn’t chasing a little budgie around. God sends his angels 🩵

RESCUE RIDE for 4…while we were at our 1st stop a foster for P.A.W.S. Tinley Park met us there & picked up her pups. Greatly appreciated & saved us some miles.
1- can ya stand how adorable he is 🩵 If he’s 5lbs I’d be surprised. He’s a tiny little fluff ball ready to get rollin
2- her pretty little speckled face had to prove she was a hound. She was hound soundin most of the drive & then she’d get her tiny sidekick going talking back to her. After handing over these two darlings. We traveled on to April’s Kittens with our last passengers. What a cool place! You’ve really got to check it out.

RESCUE RIDE for one very special lady. She gets her own post. Yesterday was a long day driving in a giant circle. 7 hrs- 10 dogs- 5 stops/ rescues. It was one of those days where I planned on 2 stops but during my drive to the shelter requests were added…even 1 more add as I was pulling out of the parking lot.
Many people saw her from posts at CACC. But so grateful that Determined To Rise Animal Foundation decided to take her into their care. It’s hard to watch a sweet soul look so defeated. She has many open wounds, skin that was the only thing still protecting her body & yet that was in horrendous condition too. Her skin draped over her bones with nothing in between. You could see every crevice of her skull and bones throughout her body. Active bleeding oozing out of her body with infection just while standing still. But when I spoke to her she wagged her nub. Ever so slowly but with gratitude. When I was about to leave she tried to get back in the van. It was probably the first place she felt comfort in a long time. To her a quiet nook with a soft blanket. As I was turning the van around the ladies at DTR were already removing her old bandages & getting ready to bathe her. She’s is in good kind gentle hands now. She needs vetting still but she is clean in a quiet home…safe.

Our first stop was Tender Loving Care Animal Shelter.
1- she could steal your heart in a split second. She was all about the snuggles & cuddles.
2- busy keeping an eye on things. Well behaved pretty girl
3- she is all legs…pretty girl plopped right down in a big crate & stretched out for a good long snooze.
4- ya want to talk about sweet 🩵 his name is Grinch & it doesn’t fit him at all cause he it too darling. He was crated right behind my seat & I could feel him watching me. I reached my hand back between the bars & he rested his head in my hand. Oh no lol. I have a long drive & I can’t bail on him now. He decided licking my hand was good enough & I was allowed to escape. He has resting sad face but this little guy is just adorable.
