OAK FEST - Official Page Active 1987 - 2020 OAKFEST, NFP is a fundraising event to help raise money for our local community organizations.

The OAKFEST Committee is proud to give Oak Forest the Best Fest on the Southside, rated in the TOP 10 for 4th of July Events by Chicago Traveler in 2014 and Daily Southtown's readers choice for the "Best of Chicago's Southland Neighborhood Fireworks" Award in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019!! All profits are distributed to over 20+ local organizations who work at the event to raise monies f

or their program. The local organizations include the Park District programs, girls softball, boy scouts, swim team, high school cheerleading and pom squads, youth club, mens club, the veterans club, local school DC trip, and many more.
