Thank you to Bricks & Minifigs Novi for hosting today’s Novi Chamber Youth Collaborative meeting!

Our discussion covered hiring strategies, wage considerations ahead of January’s minimum wage increase, effective job descriptions, standard operating procedures, onboarding, workplace culture, and communication.

As we wrap up this year’s meetings, we look forward to continuing to bring together businesses focused on youth to share experiences, exchange ideas, and learn from one another. These conversations help strengthen our local workforce and create better opportunities for the next generation.

We can’t wait to see what 2027 brings for the Youth Collaborative!

What a sweet surprise!

A big shoutout to Audrey from LaFontaine Volvo Cars Farmington Hills for stopping by the Novi Chamber with a bucket full of Halloween treats!

We love when our members pop in to say hello, and Audrey certainly brought some extra fun and Halloween cheer to our office!

Thanks for thinking of us, Audrey! It’s the little things that make our Chamber community so special.

Tuesday Testimonial!

This week's testimonial comes from Jordan Paholak, Financial Planner, for Integrity Investment Planning Group:

"Since joining the Novi Chamber of Commerce, I have had the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with fellow business owners, community leaders, and local organizations. The Chamber has created countless opportunities to connect with professionals through networking events, educational programs, and community initiatives, allowing Integrity as a whole to become more engaged in the Novi business community.

Beyond the business connections, I've appreciated being part of an organization that is genuinely invested in helping local businesses succeed. Every event that I have attended has reinforced my strong beliefs in the value of collaboration and building relationships. Our whole team at Integrity is grateful to be part of the Novi Chamber and look forward to continuing to grow alongside such an outstanding business community."

Thank you, Jordan!

Novi Chamber staff Katie and Jenn spent the past few days at the Michigan Association of Chamber Professionals (MACP) Annual Conference, connecting with Chamber professionals from across the state and investing in professional development.

From exploring AI and membership strategies to leadership, collaboration, and community impact, the conference offered valuable insights, fresh ideas, and opportunities to learn from fellow Chamber leaders.

A special highlight! The Novi Chamber was one of just six Chambers recognized by MACP and awarded a check for our work and connections through the Tenurgy Utility Bill Review Partnership Program!

We also enjoyed a special visit to Western Michigan University’s football stadium, where we met the head football coach and toured the President’s Suite.

Next stop… NOVI!

We’re proud to host the 2027 MACP Annual Conference during the Novi Chamber’s 60th anniversary year! We look forward to welcoming Chamber professionals from across Michigan and showcasing the incredible businesses, attractions, and vibrant community that make Novi a great place to live, work, and do business.

Thank you, Southwest Michigan First Chamber for hosting a fantastic conference! Novi, you’re up next!
