Dollar for dollar, community support makes a world of difference! 💵✨

A huge thank you to United Commandery No. 21 (Masons) for their incredible $1,000 donation to the Norwood Food Pantry! This gift was made in honor of Sir Knight Peter A. Randall, Right Eminent Grand Commander, and his wife Holly. 💙 We also want to give a special shoutout to Mark Luhtanen for coordinating this generous gift.

While food drives fill our shelves with pantry staples, monetary donations are a game-changer for how we serve our clients every week:

🛒 Bulk Purchasing Power: Through our partnerships with regional food banks, cash donations allow us to buy food at wholesale prices, stretching every dollar significantly further than retail cost. 🥦 Fresh & Perishable Goods: Financial gifts give us the flexibility to purchase milk, eggs, fresh produce, meat, and cultural staples that can’t always be collected in traditional food drives. 📦 Targeted Need: Cash lets us instantly replenish whatever items are running low right when our families need them most.

🐾 Pets are family, too! 🐾

A huge, heartfelt thank you to Kim and our wonderful neighbors at the for donating 80lbs of dog and cat food to the Norwood Food Pantry! 🐶🐱

When a family faces tough times, we believe taking care of them means caring for every single member of the household - including the beloved four-legged ones who bring us so much comfort and joy.

Thanks to thoughtful community partners like Kim and the , our neighbors don't have to worry about how they’ll fill their pets' bowls.

Consistency makes all the difference! 💙

A special THANK YOU to Trinity Community Church for their faithful monthly support of the Norwood Food Pantry! Every month, their continued generosity helps keep our shelves stocked and our neighbors supported.

This month was extra special as we had the pleasure of meeting Julie and Jimmy, who helped deliver October's generous bounty! 📦✨ Getting to catch up with the wonderful people behind these donations is always a highlight of our week.

Thank you to everyone at Trinity Community Church, including Julie and Jimmy, for your hands-on kindness and dedication to serving our community month after month and Pastor Eric Peterson for always making the effort to highlight our organizations work and encourage continued participation from his congregation.

We got a very nice "treat" at the Trunk or Treat event today. Laurie M, long time volunteer, received a check from Fiona and her Mother today. Thank you so much for helping us feed children and families this month.

A massive THANK YOU to The Walsh Group for their 3rd Annual Food Drive! They absolutely knocked it out of the park this year, collecting over 525 lbs of food for the Norwood Food Pantry! 📦✨

The best part? The majority of these donations went straight onto our shelves and will be in the hands of our neighbors in need this very Saturday.

We are so grateful for The Walsh Group’s continued partnership, generosity, and commitment to making sure no one in our community goes hungry. Thank you for making such a powerful impact year after year! 💙 We could not ask for better partners

Huge thanks to the Norwood Woman’s Club for their generous donation of $50 and a wonderful assortment of food following their recent meeting! Special kudos to Phyllis Spiro for helping organize such consistent support.

Support like this makes a tremendous difference for our pantry, helping us keep our shelves stocked and ready to support families right here in Norwood. We are so grateful for your continued dedication and community spirit! ❤️🥫

Talk about starting the school year off right! 🥣✨

A huge thank you to the students and families at C.J. Prescott Elementary School at for organizing an amazing cereal box food drive during their very first month back in the classroom! Together, they donated an incredible 192 pounds of cereal to stock our shelves.

Special kudos to Principal Bryan Riley for personally delivering these generous gifts to the pantry!

Breakfast items are always in high demand, and having a full bowl in the morning makes all the difference for local kids and families. Thank you to the entire Prescott community for your kindness and energy!

It's a race to the finish! Help us reach 200 boxes of cereal by October 10. We are almost there, and we need a little push!

Please donate any sweetened cereal, instant oatmeal or kids' cereal. Drop your donation off at Shaws, Stop-n-Shop or in our brown donation box behind the church at 150 Chapel St.
