Big news from the archives! I’ve nearly finished digitizing all our local musicians union records, dating from 1944 to today. It’s been a fascinating journey through our history, and I even stumbled upon some relics from the early days of "modern" technology: floppy disks! Should we donate these to the Smithsonian or put them in a time capsule for future generations to marvel at? 🤔

As Summer is winding down, it’s time to gear up for Fall with a Local update. I bet you thought we were kicking up our feet at the beach 🌴 (Well, some of us did, but we also squeezed in quite a bit of work!)

Our Local visited with our representative for a full checkup and passed with flying colors.

Our visit included a trip through the decades of files, kindly housed by our Secretary-Treasurer. (Check out the photos below ⬇️ ) Now, our President is digitizing all the files to bring us into the 21st century.

We’re looking forward to our first meeting this September and have a lot in store for you. Follow our page and join our Facebook group to be the first to know Local updates.
