✨ Employment Services Spotlight: Dylan ✨

We’re excited to celebrate Dylan, who was hired on the spot at Plum Market as a Grocery/Front-End Support team member, an incredible reflection of the strong impression he made during his interview!

In his role, Dylan plays a key part in creating a welcoming and efficient checkout experience. From bagging groceries and retrieving carts to restocking supplies, maintaining a clean front-end area, and assisting guests to their vehicles, Dylan does it all with a positive attitude.

Dylan shows up to every shift with purpose and determination, consistently giving his best effort. He takes pride in supporting both his team and every guest he serves, and it truly shows.

We are so proud of you, Dylan, keep up the amazing work! 👏

🌟 Vocational Staff Spotlight: Katie Z. 🌟

This week, we're excited to recognize Katie and the incredible impact she has made at Living and Learning!

Katie joined our team as a full-time Job Coach in September 2025 and quickly became someone our members and staff could always count on. Whether she was supporting members at the Novi Hub, Canton Hub, campus, or wherever help was needed, Katie consistently stepped up with flexibility, compassion, and dedication.

Working at sites such as Forvia, Buddy's Pizza, HopCat, and Papa John's, Katie built strong relationships with members by understanding their individual needs and helping them have successful, productive days.

Recently, Katie was promoted to OCHN Case Manager, where she now supports members at campus, Voc Foundations, and the West Bloomfield Hub. This role allows her to use her natural leadership skills while working closely with members, families, support coordinators, and staff to ensure everyone receives the support they need.

Known for her calm demeanor, empathy, and reliability, Katie has a unique ability to see situations from multiple perspectives and help others feel heard and understood.

Congratulations on your well-deserved promotion, Katie! Thank you for your dedication and for making such a positive difference in the lives of our members every day. 💙👏

🍯🐝 Buzz-Worthy News! Farm Fresh Honey is Here! 🐝🍯

Today was a pretty sweet day on our campus!

Our members had the exciting opportunity to watch and participate in the honey harvesting process alongside experienced beekeepers. From checking out the hives to helping with parts of the extraction process, everyone had a chance to see firsthand how honey goes from hive to jar.

We’re absolutely buzzing with excitement to share the sweet results with our community!

🍯 Starting Monday afternoon, 10 oz jars of our farm-fresh honey will be available for purchase for $15 each!

This honey is the real deal, harvested and extracted right here on our campus. Our members got a chance to learn about beekeeping, pollinators, and the honey extraction process while creating something truly sweet to share with the community.
