Happy Home Orphanage in Puttaparthi India is "smiling," its walls echoing with joy, because of Ranjeeta....whose deep love & unwavering care nutures every child like a mother's embrace. Ranjeeta is addressed by all the children lovingly as "Teacher!" With a HEART full of devotion, she guides them through every aspect of life.....always beginning with the wisdom of the Spirit!
I have had the privilege of witnessing Ranjeeta at length as she nutures each child with wisdom, care & a deep spiritual foundation.

MEET RANJEETA:
Ranjeeta founded the Happy Home Trust in 2008 as a home for orphans, taking in 5 children that had been abandoned on the street. She now cares for 55 girls and boys ranging from 5 to 18 years. The children are fed healthy meals, receive medical care, attend English schools, and return to a loving home at the end of every day. An amazing eighteen of the children are now attending college.

The Happy Home Trust is a registered NGO with the Indian government. The Education and Safety Alliance, Inc. monitors all donations and financial records. All donations go directly to programs and services.

A Prayer of Gratitude is of the Highest order before every meal in Happy Home Orphanage! Meals are eaten in Silence! Fresh food cooked for the children for every meal.....yes....simple yet nutritious for them. They sit on the clean floor to eat their meals, a tradition that is still observed by many in their homes. Filled my heart ❤️ & soul!
Thank you Ranjeeta....for teaching them ancient spiritual traditions in the Divine order!

Here’s something truly heartwarming that I experienced at Happy Home! 🌞📖

Every morning, I found Somashree deeply engrossed in a newspaper—written in English! Before the school bus arrived, she would sit with her head buried in the pages, eager to soak in the news. And what was even more delightful? Other children would gather around, trying to do the same. Their curiosity and enthusiasm for learning were simply contagious! 💡✨

At Happy Home, the kids are trilingual! 🌍 They speak Telugu, their native language, and are also taught Hindi and English at school. The dedication and excitement these children have for education is nothing short of inspiring.

Every day is a reminder of how bright and full of potential they are. Let’s continue to support their journey toward a brighter future! 🌟📚
