This past weekend, we celebrated a truly special occasion: our very first graduation ceremony at our North Salt Lake campus! It was a beautiful day spent honoring the incredible hard work, resilience, and dedication of 18 outstanding graduates.

We were honored to hear powerful and inspiring words from an amazing lineup of speakers, including members of our current graduating class, board member Jennifer Brown, Chair of the Davis County Commission Lorene Kamalu, one of our past graduates, and dedicated members of our staff.

Moments like this are the heart of why we do what we do. Celebrating the complete, whole-person transformation these men have fought so hard to establish and build makes every single step of the journey worth it. The atmosphere was nothing short of incredible—seeing families come together to cheer on their loved ones, watching current students picture themselves on that stage one day, and feeling the deep community support rallying around our program.

Thank you to everyone who believes in our mission and supports our program. The success of each of these men comes down to the relentless effort they put in every single day and the unwavering community surrounding them.

We caught this incredible rainbow right outside our campus, and it was too good not to share.

In the middle of busy schedules, hard work, and daily routines, it’s so easy to keep your head down and move right past things like this. But recovery teaches us how to slow down, look up, and appreciate the beauty right in front of us.

At the end of the day, it’s often these quiet, simple moments. A sunset, a deep conversation, or a giant rainbow over the house...that really count the most.

Nothing recharges the soul like time spent outdoors!

A group of our guys spent part of last weekend exploring Ogden Canyon and taking in the waterfall.

Getting out to enjoy Utah’s amazing backyard is one of the best ways for our students to clear their minds, build strong friendships, and stay grounded. Experiencing moments like these, surrounded by nature and good company, is what building a full, meaningful life is all about.

Getting out to this fair every month is something our guys genuinely look forward to. It’s an incredible chance to put values like empathy, leadership, and service into daily practice while helping support local individuals and families in need.

Our students had an incredible time playing in the EōS Fitness Do Better 3v3 Basketball Tournament at EōS Fitness in Bountiful this week.

We are super excited to announce a 3v3 Basketball Tournament coming up this Wednesday, August 19th from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at EōS Fitness in Bountiful!

This event is part of the EōS Do Better Program, which provides incredible opportunities to support causes that make a meaningful impact right here in our community.

Here are the details:

👥 Format: 3v3 Tournament — Bring your own team, or just show up and we’ll match you with one!

🎟️ Entry Fee: Bring a donation of hygiene products for the John Volken Academy! (Our most needed items right now are body wash, deodorant, and shaving cream).

🆓 Access: No purchase or EōS membership needed to play!

We have had an amazing partnership with Weber State University over the past many years, and last night, we were so proud to celebrate the graduation of these incredible men!

These students put in the hard work, late nights, and dedication to complete a class on Supply Chain Management. This is such an awesome opportunity for our guys to pursue higher education, gain practical skills, and open their minds to new, rewarding career paths.

To Francois, Nancy, and the rest of the team at Weber State: we are so deeply grateful for everything you do to support our students and our academy. Thank you for opening doors and believing in our guys!
