๐ฆ Unearthing History! ๐ฆ
This morning, a piece of North St. Paul history saw the light of day once again as the 1976 Time Capsule was carefully removed from the ground in front of the North Star Museum of Boy Scouting and Girl Scouting.
What makes this discovery even more special is that when the time capsule was originally buried in 1976, our museum building served as the North St. Paul Library. For 50 years, the capsule has rested beneath the grounds, preserving memories, artifacts, and stories from America's Bicentennial year.
The North Star Museum was honored to be part of this exciting moment as community members gathered to witness the retrieval of this historic treasure. We can't wait to see what has been preserved inside and to share this fascinating glimpse into the past with our visitors and supporters.
Stay tuned as we reveal the contents and celebrate the history, memories, and community spirit captured in 1976!
Celebrate at the Throwback Time Capsule Bash on Thursday June 25th 5pm-9pm.
