💜 October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and at Rise in Love, we want every survivor to hear this message:

You are not alone. There is hope. And there are people who care. 💜

Through our Families in Transition Program, Rise in Love walks alongside survivors and families during one of the most vulnerable times of their lives—helping provide the support, resources, and assistance they need as they move from crisis toward safety, stability, and independence.

But we cannot do this work without you.

Donate School Supplies for Children in Need! This summer Rise in Love will be launching Supplies of Love.
How can you help? If you would like to donate school supplies and a backpack to a deserving child, please check our page on July 1 for a list of drop sites at local businesses. The program ends on August 1.
Our Supplies of Love program will focus on elementary-aged children, and the list of supplies needed is: Washable broad line markers in classic colors, glue sticks, colored pencils, two-pocket plastic folders with prongs (red, green, yellow, blue, orange), spiral notebooks (wide ruled), Scissors 5” with rounded tips, highlighters, large pink erasers, 3” x 3” lined Post-It Notes, child-size wired headphones.
Thank you for ensuring a child in your area will have the school supplies they need for a successful school year.
Please note: There is no client registration for this program. Distribution of donations will be handled by the school districts.

Christmas Joy Program Retirement and Launch of School Supply Drive

Rise in Love will not be continuing the Christmas Joy Program in 2026. This program was launched in 2020 when we saw an increased need in this space due to other similar programs being suspended due to COVID. Since then, support for the program has dwindled as other holiday programs were re-launched.

Rise in Love is seeing increased requests for school supplies and are partnering with local districts on a school supply drive. Our local business partners will receive information on this program in coming weeks. There is no client registration for this program. Distribution of donations will be handled by the school districts.
