We are beyond honored to share that Beyond Words Foundation for Autism will be recognized as the Community DIFF Maker of the Game at the Cleveland Cavaliers game on Wednesday, April 8th! 🏀💙

This incredible recognition celebrates individuals and organizations making a meaningful impact in their communities and we’re proud to stand among those creating real change for individuals and families affected by autism.

The DIFF Maker Award highlights those who go above and beyond to improve lives through service, advocacy, education, and community support. To be recognized on the court during halftime is truly a special moment for our entire community.

💫 This honor belongs to EVERYONE who supports our mission: our families, volunteers, donors, and advocates. You are the reason we can continue making a difference.

If you’ll be at the game, be sure to cheer us on during halftime! Let’s show what it means to “be the diff.”

After founding Beyond Words: Music, Art & Dance Center, Erin Jester quickly realized that neurodiverse children and their families often have a variety of additional expenses required to meet their unique needs. As a result, many neurodiverse children go without quality of life services, such as swimming, horseback riding, music, dance and adapted sports. As a result, she founded Beyond Words Foundation for Autism, a non-profit 501 (c)(3). This non-profit exists solely to raise funds to award scholarships to children in Northeast Ohio to obtain recreational based services, not otherwise covered by insurance.

This year, our children have even more restrictions accessing funding through county and state levels with new policies regarding recreational therapies. We are accepting donations to award this summer! Applications are now open until April 15th. Please feel free to share to families who need financial support for ANY recreational programming in Cuyahoga, Summit and Medina counties.

We had an overwhelming amount of applications for this summer's scholarship program and decided to focus on helping as many students and their families as possible. Congratulations to the 44 students who were awarded a total of $15,000 in scholarships to use for this summer's recreational programming!
