This past weekend, we celebrated the dedication of Cracker Box Palace's new horse stalls - a project made possible through the generosity and partnership of so many supporters.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the Karpus Family Foundation, Lisk Morris Foundation, The Hallowell Fund, and the Gonsenhauser Family Fund for their generous financial support of this important project.

We are also incredibly thankful for the in-kind contributions and expertise provided by AmeriCorps, Eagle Welding and Machine, Pike Construction Services, Steady Work of Wayne County Schools, and Grand Slam Safety.

This project would not have been possible without the many individual donors, volunteers, and community members who contributed their time, talents, and resources along the way. Your support helps us provide safe and comfortable housing for the horses in our care.

The dedication ceremony was made even more special by the presentation of a citation from the office of Brian Manktelow, recognizing the impact of this project and the community that made it possible.

This is just the first of many projects that will help preserve and strengthen Cracker Box Palace for years to come.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the celebration and to all who helped turn this vision into reality!

🚴‍♂️💚 Shoutout to Dan Robertson, one of our longtime volunteers, who yesterday completed a fundraiser bike ride from Webster to Cracker Box Palace!
Dan is a familiar face in our horse barn, regularly volunteering his time. He has participated in bike rides benefiting other organizations over the years, and this year he decided to ride in support of CBP!
Thank you, Dan, for your generosity and for going the extra mile - literally - to support CBP! 💚🐴

It was an amazing “Blessing of the Farm Event” tonight at Cracker Box Palace - a great way for me to remember John T Faulks. ❤️ When we purchased our current home back in 2011, we had never heard of Cracker Box Palace, but immediately fell in love with the animals at the farm. John had a goal to volunteer at the farm when he retired. Sadly, his battle with cancer took this dream away from him. I am currently on the Board and proud of what our team has accomplished for the animals at the farm. 🥰

Please consider joining us next year for this heartwarming event. It was very touching and I was able to meet some great people. Below is the description of the event.

“Friday, May 22 7:00 PM
Join us for an evening of reflection and remembrance at our Blessing of the Farm and Lighted Lantern Walk.
💫Honor someone special - human or animal - by donating for a personalized tribute lantern (suggested $15).

The evening will begin with a blessing of the farm in remembrance of those who have passed, followed by a peaceful lantern-lit walk. Together, we’ll create a beautiful tribute of light while honoring loved ones - past and present.

You’re also welcome to bring a short story or poem to share, or include a message with your donation to be read during the event. All are welcome. Light refreshments will be served.”

Janet Halasinski did an awesome job organizing this heartwarming event - a great way to reflect on an animal or a loved one who you have lost. 🥰

What an incredible United Way Day of Caring! 💚💛
Thanks to the amazing volunteer teams from Advanced Atomization Technologies (AATech), Creation Technologies, Reliant Credit Union, and XEROX Office of General Counsel for spending the day helping around the farm. From cleaning out barns and trail maintenance to landscaping and painting projects, so much was accomplished thanks to your hard work and teamwork!
A special thank you to Altra Rental and Supply, Inc for generously supplying us with a lift and power washer so we could complete several projects!
Our appreciation also goes out to WS Excavating LLC for supplying culvert pipe for our trail improvement - your support helped make this project possible!
A thank you as well to Wolcott True Value helping supply paint for several of our projects.
We are so grateful for everyone who gave their time, energy, and support to make the day such a huge success!
